Erentil is out of control
It really is. It’s the only thing that has no counter other than using it (edit: this was poorly phrased, better is, “one of the best counters is using an Erentil yourself.”)) And the range it can one shot is game breaking. With Magazine perks such as Under Pressure and other stability enhancements, it can outgun other weapons at 30+ meters. This outmatches the range of every special but snipers, but for obvious reasons, they leave you vulnerable. Other fusion rifles seem to be in check, but for some reason Erentil FR4 is exceedingly effective as a weapon. With scavenger perks, players are able to use this weapon as a main weapon without needing to use anything else. Yes. I’m whining. But it’s also ridiculous.
Edit: So many people are upset that I’ve targeted ONE weapon. Guys. If it’s so easy to counter, why are you trying so hard to keep it as is?

No. It isn't. I get killed by the pinnacle weapons way more than fusion rifles. And snipers. If your sick of the fusions it is because of map design. Fusions should be as rewarding as a slide or jump shotgun, or a sniper sitting down a ally. Having to pre fire a fusion comes as its cost. And backup plan is the same as snapshot sights on a sniper, allowing for quick scoping. If scouts were viable then people could sit outside fusion range. I'm sick of snipers because there is few counter plays to it. Turn corner, dead. Maybe stop charging corners.

4 답변You can easily counter it because it got a charge time which gives it away 7/10 times. The real question is is if the crucible should remain an arcade mode with this insane amount of one shot weapons or if it should return to an actual gun fight battle with limited heavy ammo and less one shot kills that break the flow of a game.

If that's what pvp is like, ok, I'll do it. Do I like it? No, not at all. But I'm finished with being bagged and whatnot because I'm not using that bull

Edit: My Erentil with Moving Target, High-Impact Reserves, Handling MasterWork, already has 290 Crucible kills, and I only started using Erentil very recently. :P Oh, 298 after the last match, where I was wrecking the opposing team handily until my team of rando blueberries spent the rest of the match feeding the opposing team kills so that they could chain supers. Erentil is good, but it's not '5/6 teammates are terribad' good. ;) Edit: 306. Again, bad teammates throwing away another lead. *sigh* People need to learn how to play Control. To be fair though, the opposing team were spamming Luna's, Recluse, Truth, so no wonder my blueberries were getting turned into jam. I wish there was a way to quick-message everyone on one's team, because I would have told them to all run Erentils. ;) Edit: 316. So averaging about 8-10 kills per match with Erentil, with just two shots per respawn, or whatever special ammo I pick up off the ground.

10 답변The high impact fusions are beyond their balance right now. I mean, I like to have cover close at hand anytime, but [i]needing[/i] it 24/7 because Vinny Voop can put me down from 45 meters away feels super oppressive. It's not really just the gun though, it's how easily they can use it instead of their primary the [b]whole[/b] game. They need to cut down on special ammo. If that's not on the table, a charge time increase needs to happen and backup plan needs to go. My wizened rebuke is disgusting.

It really isn't hugely consistent, considering you've got to be perfect with timing, and have little to no flinch being given to you. The biggest reason Erentil nukes people is because it has to charge for a half second, and has pretty slow handling, it's sluggish, but hits like dropping an aircraft carrier on someone. But it’s also ridiculous.[/quote] Not really, considering the fact that Erentil has a lot of startup, plus it's arguably the weapon that's the most adversely effected by flinch, since it's near impossible to consistently time shooting your burst for when your opponent is in between shots. Well yes, but shotguns are too. Look at the kill feed every game, you'll see. In comp you wanna know what i see? Hunter, dusk rock, NF warcliff.......no joke like 6/10 that's the case, the rest oem titans and that one warlock. The basic hunter clone setup. Yes erentil is stupid, but don't cry wolf because dusk rock shotguns aren't any different.

3 답변I agree 100%. It’s the range, absolutely ridiculous range. Last night I got one shot from an impossible distance. I just started laughing because it was so impossible. I’ve played Destiny for five years and have never called for a nerf on these forums. But holy jeez that range has to get looked at.

I've got a Wizened Rebuke that has all stability perks - the coils that constrain bolts (I use the range coils here because of all of the other stability perks), Tap the Trigger, Under Pressure, Stability MW, with a counterbalance mod on it; and I'd have to say that it does feel a little filthy, but it's still fun.

I thought he was just that good with it till I came up on him once, started my charge, he shot me twice w/ his HC AND killed me with it by the time my charge fired. Beating me on a charge I could understand. But getting HC shots off and shooting me with a fusion by the time my fires? I don’t know of any that are that fast. Granted I did get my shot off. But it didn’t kill him inside of 10m bc my aim went array as his fusion hit me.

2 답변I just recently got the telesto and that thing was crazy good even after it's nerf. I had no clue you could get kills with it by shooting the pellets on a wall and having them explode as an enemy walks by them. Once I figured this out I shooting them on the corners of walls and in blind spots that ppl run by then going about my business and 5-10 seconds later getting a kill from them lol. There are lots of fusions in this game that are just op in crucible. Thank god not many ppl use them.

I mean, it's less of an issue than with OP pinnacle weapons since Erentil (or similar FRs) are relatively easy to get, and even a bad roll will kill people a good 1/4 of the map away if you have good aim, but it is kind of a pain to always have to carry a fusion rifle if you don't actually like using them. I barely use FRs but yesterday, I ran Erentil as my primary and got 32 kills (maybe half Erentil, half supers). Of course, is it less of a problem than Dust Rock (mine with Grave Robber has a ridiculous number of kills considering I don't usually use shotguns)? All I know is I feel dirty using it... but that doesn't mean I'll stop, so long as people are spamming Recluse and other OP guns. ;) /may have played against you while I was using Erentil at one point //every time I pulled Erentil out, I managed to turn a losing game into a winning one (except the matches where I joined near the end and didn't have enough time before timer ran out)
