He was an excellent farmer and herdsman, tending the horses and flocks as well as the wheat and cabbage. His father was rich for the town's standards, and owned the greatest stock of horses in the whole province. One day, however, a great evil came to his small home, and broke his world asunder. A great Lich, Elafaren, came into his home and utterly destroyed the community. Some people fled, most were killed in flight or in fight. Reluran tried to make his way to his father's house during the attack of lord of victory and his undead minions, but the house and barn were already in flames. The Lich walked out of the house and saw the young man. Its face shifted from that of a handsome elf, to that of a shining skull, with gems for eyes... Reluran knew that his time had come, but he did not wish to die in futility. He reached for a pitchfork near at hand and hefted it at the Lich, who easily deflected it with a wave of his hand. The monster stared down at the man, and somehow he had the feeling that it was giving him a knowing look, some recognition of the man's thoughts. The Lich raised its hand as ice formed above it, then lobbing it at the herdsman violently. The ice hit him on the side of the head, seemingly killing him. As the Lich left that day it left only two survivors of those who had not fled... Reluran woke up midday the next day, wounded and weary. He sat up slowly to see the view of his whole world turned to cinder. He slowly began to search for someone, anyone to help. There were so few remains that there was naught even bury. As he rummaged through supply rooms, he mourned the loss of his family, but he heard a loud noise coming from the barn behind his house. Upon investigation, he found a single horse trapped underneath a fallen beam. The horse froze as it saw him, their eyes locking and look of understanding passing between them. Reluran helped the horse get out of the wreckage, and together the two limped side by side through the plains, all the way back to civilization. Now Reluran and Fleetnose are inseparable, going the same road as they search for the Lich that destroyed their home. Along the way they have fought and become worthy of tales in their own right, Fleetnose becoming an experienced battlehorse and Reluran becoming an adept fighter both on horseback and off. [b]Armor[/b]: Boiled leather armor and high riding boots. He wears a long, grass green cape with a hood on the back of it. He has light chainmail under his armor and wears a conical Corinthian helmet. [b]Gear[/b]: He commonly wields a long sword, buckler, and a long lance for horseback combat. [b]Magic[/b]: He has some basic restorative powers and woodcraft. [b]Personality[/b]: Easygoing, but calculating. He seems calm, oftentimes laconic, but speaks his mind when he feels it's necessary or when passionate about something. He can often times be found conversing quietly with his horse, as if he and Fleetnose can actually understand each other, this has sometimes lead to people finding him a little odd in his affinity to not just his horse, but towards animals in general.

[spoiler]ok. Since it seems you are very loose on what we can and cannot make. So this is assuming you would let me make a powerful lich as a villain. If so that here the character is. If not I have other ideas [/spoiler] Name: Elafaren the lord of victory Race: was a elf in life. Now is a lich. Appearance: in life Elafaren was a Handsome elf. He was tall and slim and had brillant brown hair and beautiful brown eyes. In death he sometimes keeps a illusion of his face but when he doesn’t he has a very polished shining skull. Not ever a spot unpolished. Just ask the last guy who left a spot, wait you can’t. He decorates his old eye sockets with beautiful gems. Personally: he is cold and calculating. But he also has a wicked sense of humor. He believes that villainy was a part of life and without villains there would be no hero so he believes he is in the right. He also wants to find a nemesis hero so he can be slain and come back over and over again also so he could make the, we are not so different speech. Although he is fine with lying he follows a strict code of villainy, always promising to be cruel and wicked but never lose the logic that he is necessary for without him there would be no hero. And also he never kills children, seeing that they could be corrupted and used as evil and they are not really old enough to choose hero or villain. This would make him lawful evil. Armor: he wears no armor. Only red robes that he wore as a hero. He uses abjuration magic for armor. Weapons: he uses magic as his primary weapon. He is a mighty spellcaster. More on that in the magic section. He also carry’s daggers and stuff. Spells: He is a powerful spellcaster both in life and undeath. So here are some of the things he can do. Also you can always use your imagination because I’m just putting basics. Necromancy: -create undead minions. Weak and powerful. -can hurt people with necrotic blights -can drain life -uses many necrotic ritual to keep himself coming back. Evocation -many different magical attacks. Although he prefers lightning or ice. Illusion and enchanting -likes messing with people’s minds through fear and illusions. Abjuration. -wards shields and mage armor. Strategy: he prefers to stick back and summon hordes in combat. Maybe aid with offensive spells. But mainly he comes up with evil plans. Also he has contingency plans for his death. Extra hidden phylactery, clone spells, necrotic rituals and stuff. Backstory: Elafaren was born as a humble elf in a small hamlet. Until, of course, that hamlet was destroyed. Leaving him the last surviver as only a child. He was adopted by a wizard. Growing up he learned of magic and hero’s and decided to become a War mage. He trained in the arts of magic for a long long while until he thought he was ready. He then proceeded to roam across the land fighting monsters and doing good. Durning his quest he became a popular folk hero and amassed enough wealth to become a lord. The lord of victory. For he was Victorious against all foes and evil doers. Elafaren the lord of victory became Popular in small regions. But he always still had his interest in necromancy. Eventually he killed a necromancer and took his spellbook and learned from it. Teaching himself in secret. One day though he was cursed by a enemy. A terrible curse of the mind. But the powerful mage thought it had no effect on him. Soon though he began rethinking his existence. He came into this world as a boring villager but because of evil he had purpose. He had a purpose to go out and hunt monsters. To kill them for the people and gain fame and glory. But all of this wouldn’t of happened without the evil that he was fighting. Evil always came back and good destroyed it. But it always came back. That made him consider his self given title, the lord of victory, as a false one. There was no victory in good because it never truly won. But there was victory in evil. It always came back and without it there would be no good. Cursed, he had a change of heart. You either die a hero and see yourself live to become a villain and he lived a long time for his career. It was time for the cycles to spin and the tables to turn. He would become a villain to fear all villains and to spawn good. He was evil but it was necessary. But all of him predecessors did fail. Because even though evil came back they died. This would not happen to him. He studied necromancy for a long time while he turned. While he started destroying the villages he saved for spell ingredients or some other purposes. Eventually he became a lich. Evil at its truest. It was his time now. His time to truly be victorious. And so that’s his current life status. But there is more to his plan. He will keep doing evil. Keep destroying and continue his course. Obviously he has many plans for his “death”. But he want just a villain, but a spawned of hero’s. For he would eventually create hero’s and show them that they are not so different. Every story needs a good old fashioned villain.

Name: Unknown Age: 165 Race: Shapeshifting Ghost Backstory: He was born a long time ago. He died in a fire and became a Shapeshifting Ghost and each time he died after that, he lost his memory. He then shapeshifts into them. All he knows is that he has fun shapeshifting and can be touched still. Few become the successful business like type, and those who do are highly respected not just by other Boaria, but by all Suidaens as well. [b]Pot Suidaens[/b]: The much more Intelligent sub race, but with their smarts comes a weakness. Natural fat and literal weakness. They are not built for battle or for manual labor. They are the inventors and the architects. [b]Sus Suidaens[/b]: The first of the Suidaens. They are neither super intelligent nor super smart. They are a mix of the neutral both. Their ancestors, having experienced the harsh terrain of their early land, have adapted to most elements and conditions. And so these modern day Suidaens have these adaptations. The arrow heads are red or blue and use fire or ice depending on the color and Sum’s mood(right). [/spoiler] [b]Personality[/b]: [spoiler] He has two personalities [b]Bright and Warm[/b]: He is a polite and light hearted character with a constant smile. His kindness is quite the guard dropper. Usually known as the friendly guy of the group, the wing man, the annoying jokester, and etc. He cracks jokes and loves making people laugh. When his friends are down in the dumps he brightens their day with a few witty remarks or relatable stories. He is a spark of hope when it’s dark. His infectious smile can brighten the darkest of souls. Even bring a smile to the dark and gloomy. [u]He loves bada$s one liners[/u] during battle. Almost nothing can waver his happiness, but when something does... (this is a subtle transition) [b]Dark and Cold[/b]: His face goes blank. His eyes go cold. His armor trim goes from red to dark blue. He puts his good on. The room dims and gets chiller and enemies know they ‘bouta have a bad time💀. With his helmet on, a deep breathing noise can be heard, sending shivers down enemy spines 🎺💀. He becomes proficient in Intimidation. Windows frost, lights flicker, and the air becomes heavy. He can become the epitome of fear. Companions who have witnessed it for the first time stain their briefs but can get accustomed to it, using this change as an advantage on the enemy. [u]He still likes one liners, but badder and a$sier than usual[/u]. ——————| Note |——————— Of all his emotions, anger is NEVER on of them. He just doesn’t get angry. Almost virtually impossible. Should he get angry though (never been witnessed even by Sum himself) he uses both fire and ice to ABSOLUTELY KICK A55 m, healing and deflecting at once while his armor goes black. But it’s never been done, he’s never angry... this is speculation of course. I’m just his imaginative creator, nothing special. [/spoiler] [b]Backstory[/b]: [spoiler] Back home he was a talented happy child. He studied magic and his father (a great general and warrior) taught him to fight. Years later a house rose to power and gained favor of the king. House Hoof. They disliked House Snout as they had equal power to theirs house and schemes of a way to be rid of them. Sum was a good child and everyone loved him, he liked fire and was very skilled in fire spells, but the unexpected murder (thought to be accident) of his parents gave him his cold side. He no longer cracked jokes, or used fire magic. His house, now empty as all the laborers left and were separated amongst the Houses, was cold and frosted. During this time, people feared him and no longer talked to him. House Hoof, wanting to be rid of house Snout got the idea of banishment saying he is bringing fear to the common people and shame to his House, and the King reluctantly agreed. So he was kicked out of his home with only a few belongings, and House Snout was replaced by another House (Tail) more obedient to House Hoof. Sum travelled long distances, and the time alone started his semi split personality. His better side would occasionally try comforting his sadder side. The only person he could talk to was himself. Eventually his brighter side did come back, and his sadder side, although not gone, was subdued till danger arrived for it to give the smacking. Sumathian Snout the Second is all that remains of House Snout, and he promises to honor its name for his family. —————| [b]Side Note[/b]: Now you may be wondering,” what do you mean by Houses? Well read some Drizzt do Urden books (chronicly the first ones) and you’ll understand. How powerful can they be and can they be villains? I have so many ideas for fantasy characters, hero’s and villains alike, I would like to know some restrictions and what can I make. I wish I would have saw this post earlier so I would have more time

Name: Azule Race: Argonian. (lizard men just like from the elder scrolls) Looks: Tall at 6"3', fiery-red eyes, a row of small horns that make a ring around his skull but don't meet on his forehead, Dark red scales with a hint of green, and a tail, large chest, always wears a jean like pants no shoes, and a tight dark blue shirt. Weapons: handheld crossbow, two steel daggers, and various poisons. Magic: can enhance senses by dampening other senses, can be used to superpower one sense and dampen all the others. Personality: Hard and cynical, prefers to stay silent in groups, but he is a master strategist. Backstory: grew up with Orcs, so he tends to act like them but still uses his Argonian abilities to his advantage. His father was a hunter and his mother was always sick, and he hated to see kids get picked on so he would fight for them, and because of that, he grew up being an exceptional fighter.
