Judaism goes back a number of centuries before Christianity. Indeed, Jesus was born a Jew. As far as God's presence in time, I believe that C.S. Lewis has it right: if He can be omnipresent in three dimensions, He can be omnipresent in four. So, He is as present today as He was at the Big Bang, and will be at the Big Chill. Only it's all 'now' for Him.

Christianity emerged out of Judaism. Jesus was a Jew. But the worlds oldest religion is believed to be Hinduism (or some form of it) which goes back to around 3000 BC. But there was also the ancient Egyptians, the Sumerians, The Minoans, The Jews etc. Stone henge predates the bible. Plus there’s all the prehistoric religions - cave paintings etc. Some cave paintings (depicting spirits) date back 30-40 thousand years.
