Go PC only
Cut out the consoles and go PC only and you can make up the loss of money by adopting the WoW model with paid Subscription. I would have no problem paying a Subscription fee if we got new large expansion every year and Bungie could just keep building onto Destiny 2. That would make Destiny the best it could be. It would eventually become bigger than WoW. And I know I am not the only player that would have no problem with this model.

I like PC but destiny is amazing on all platforms it's not really a super hardcore mmo that needs a PC to play nor is it a casual shooter it's in the middle and my personal philosophy is more players means more content down the road

4 답변I would also like to state that PS5 and Xbox Scarlett will do 8K at 120fps in HDR, and both will include SSD drives. The price? $500-$600 Beats PC. So much for pc master race

7 답변Logical fallacy, FFXIV is on console and it’s subscription based. Destiny 2 could be subscription based without leaving consoles.

6 답변If you want to commit financial suicide it is a great idea. I was interested so I got some figures. WOW is estimated to have 5mil subs in 2019 at $15 per month, I think = $900mil annually Destiny's player base is roughly 1mil of which I would guess 40% are on PC. So, that gives you 400,000 subs at $15 per month = $72mil annually Bungie is estimated to have 600 employees. Let's say the average salary is $50,000, which it is not I am sure. That is $30mil is salaries. You have not paid a bill, bought a computer, a chair, a pencil, a printer, a desk, or an office space yet. The office space for 600 employees would run about $3-4mil a year alone. This gives you $38-39mil to run a company that pumped $140mil into making Destiny 1 which took 4 years. THEN!!! you have to factor in the data center cost and then you need IT people to run it and I can guarantee you they will not get out of bed for $50,000 a year. A data center would run you about $1mil per 1000 sq ft, which is about the size of an apartment. I have no idea how big of a space you would need for a few 100,000 players. Life Lesson...Do NOT bite the hand that feeds you.
