Why Blind Well is one of the best casual activities, and what the Devs can learn from it

I have no idea how you guys pulled it off, but i think you totally NAILED Blind Well. Its one of my absolute favorite activites in the whole game and i can find hardly anything wrong with it. Now, since "ITS FUN!" is not very constructive feedback, i'd like to go over WHY its so good: The setup- If you compare Blind Well to events like Escalation Protocol and the Forges, youll quickly see why Blind Well is so popular. Blind Well is set up like a public event, which means it counts towards Public Event Bounty progress, and Public Defender ghost shells seem to work as well. You guys know how annoying it is to get those 3 Heroic Public Event completions in the Dreaming City, well Blind Well is a foolproof way to solve that issue. On top of being a public event, Blind Well is also easily accessible. Anyone can jump in at any time, and the Well's location is just a 30-second Sparrow ride from spawn. A big problem ive had with the Forges (especially Bergusia) is that they are SO FAR from spawn nobody wanders down there to casually do a few rounds. If the Forges had fast-travel points near them or were located closer to spawn, i bet they would be more popular. The fact that everyone benefits equally from one person's Well Charge also adds a layer of community to the event. This and the heavy emphasis on teamwork mean people are more willing to work together to complete the objectives. The Arena- The Blind Well arena is a far more interesting locale compared to Escalation Protocol. It has alot of verticality, cover, and a very parkour-friendly setup. The radius of the Well Bubbles is also very forgiving and allows even Attunement of Sky warlocks to fly about safely. It would be cool to have an arena that changes with every week, but the current one we have is totally fine. The Mechanics- Killing X amount of enemies within X time limit has never felt more fun. I cant pinpoint exactly why i like Blind Well's way of doing this more than EP, but its probably that the Well is just way more forgiving. As long as you have one other person with you, you can probably beat even a Blind Well tier 3. I never finished even one round of Escalation, even with a full group. The orbs you get from killing Anathemas add another layer of strategy to the event. You can just camp in the Well, sure, but you could also grab an Anathema orb and go on a 15-second rampage through the fog, killing everything in sight. You could also go on a boss-hunt looking for Plagues of the Well, heavily shielded major enemies that can wreck a team if you arent killing Anathemas. The weekly rotation of enemy races is also a cool feature, especially when the bosses of each species count towards Triumph progress. it feels alot like Prison of Elders in this way. In summary, i think all future events need to be: -Easily accessible from fast-travel points so anyone can enter at any time -Emphasize teamwork in some way or another -Have some unique features or mechanics so its different from any public event -Count as public events(?) -NOT be the Reckoning

So many times I go all the way to get there... nobody. Start an event... nobody.
