See you just proved that the whole game is too stingy with loot. That’s the true problem that the menagerie glitch revealed.
This whole first line is bullsh!t.
Nothing was proven with what they said
It only revealed how selfish and greedy players are.

Disagree. The most successful loot based games of all time were far more rewarding than destiny. Do you know what the odds are of rolling a god roll? It’s clearly a problem. If you don’t think so then we have very differing ideas on what keeps the majority of people playing. I would have been happy to run tons of menagerie to get god roll everything just because it was rewarding. The way it is now, I don’t run it at all. As a dev, your goal is to have people playing and playing for a long time. The statistics of players in the menagerie and amount of time they spend in it has dropped off a cliff. Clearly they need to change something.
The most successful loot based games of all time were far more rewarding than destiny.
Was it because if exploiting? Cheating? Doubtful. Everything in your last paragraph is true...however... If you want a rewarding activity then give the correct feedback to that point. Don't simply ask for an exploit to comeback because then you're a cheater who supports cheating. This is my biggest problem with this OP post and people who are defending it. They're not giving feedback about the activity being unrewarding, they just want their 'free' loot back via and exploit. It's nauseating.

You’re nitpicking then. Clearly the OP would be fine if they made the activity more rewarding. And I would hope you knew I wasn’t talking about bringing and exploit back. I’m just saying that the philosophy they have on loot needs to change imo because it would lead to much better player participation for the elite and casual players.

No I'm not. If people don't want to be lumped in with cheaters then they need to NOT include 'bring back the exploit' in their posts like the OP did. The post has over 1000 upvotes but how many of those actually support cheating? How are the devs supposed to look at that and not ask the same question? Of course I knew you weren't, however because of the thread we're in you were vague enough to (maybe) imply that you supported that. I was just forcing a clarification.
