"Thousands of hours" has 1k. The majority of your 1k of play time is spent in story missions/strikes. That is the epiphany of casual content. You also have periods where you leave the game for 4 months at a time.... That's called casually playing. You don't have to lie to us to try and kick it. And just because one time you had a goal in this game and solo'd the shattered throne once doesn't make you a hardcore player. Small example I used to play siege hardcore. Had multiple accounts that I'd get to platinum/diamond every season in ranked. Now? I play siege/ranked every now and again. That would mean i'm a casual despite my past accomplishments. I'm ok with being a casual 😊 The better question though is why are you obsessed with labels? Anywho there is nothing wrong with being a casual player. Why do you think being casual is a bad thing? Casual: a person who does something irregularly: "a number of casuals became regular customers” Casual gamer: *can only be defined by urban dictionary: “A person who plays games but aren't competitive. Usually they are just there to be social and have fun but if they end up losing in the game they wouldn't mind. They don't put in a lot of effort to try to win.” With your example, there too many variants to back up your claim. A raid is a 6 person activity. Comp is a 4 person activity. Kind of hard to call out A player for being A casual if they do not have the team to play said activities. Ie they can be hardcore solo players that intelligently avoids the headaches of lfg. They also may not like the competitive aspect of comp. Ie a hardcore pve player. Just like a hardcore pvp player. “Casuals” to me, are the players that just play because.. their friends play said game but do not really care about the finite details of a game. Destiny being a good example. Do they care about their builds, the meta weapons, the team synergy etc.. Ie are they casual, or do they dive deep into the game that rewards the aspect that keeps them coming back.

imo, the casual term apply mostly to the [u]dificulty[/u] content you consume as a customer, not to the amount of time you put into a game Say someone play every day 7-8 hours, from witch some is quickplay, some are patrols, rest is on orbit , even if he play everything but doesnt do raids or comp, then imo he is a casual Casuals is not about the amount of time u invest but the dificulty of the content you do
