[spoiler]This story is a minor reboot of the June Bellicose fiasco. It’s also unrelated to the current war between Oni and Ringleader. This is a much more “realistic” roleplay and will be using actual names instead of usernames.[/spoiler] Introduction: [i]With the passing of June Bellicose, the Monarchy had fallen into chaos and madness. That is, until a new monarch arose. Isabell Haestrom, a mysterious noblewoman from a house no one had ever heard of claimed the throne with the force of a thousand armies raised from the dead. Now, the entire Empire is under her undying control... or is it? [/i] Setting: [i] Welcome to Hearthshine, a Victorian Era capitol city teeming with traders and magic. At its center lies the massive castle where Isabell resides. Branching out, the streets are lined with markets, bars and joyful jesters. In the side alleys elves can be found showing off their dark magic, however the normal magic can be viewed on the normal streets of Hearthshine during normal business hours if that suits your fancy. Merchants from all over the globe travel here to sell their various wares, ranging from simple food and weapons, to magical elements and spells. Be careful what you purchase though, magic items can be unusable or even dangerous if you aren’t properly trained to handle them! [/i] Common Locations: [spoiler] -Tiffie’s bar, a common stomping ground for low-lives. A great place to find a bounty, either on your head or someone else’s... -Eagle Inn, a safe haven for weary travelers. Located within a block of the castle, granting certain rooms with a nice view of the palace... for an upcharge, of course! -Baker’s Market, a bartering market where people sell food -Death Alley, a dusty old alleyway that sunlight never reaches. A place where only those who wish to learn of the dark magic venture. It is suspected that Isabell learned her necromancy from one of the vendors here. -Gold Souk, A hotspot for tourists and veteran city goers alike, this beefed up market offers the largest variety of weapons, magic items, and above all else, gold. Very pricey to buy anything. -Barne’s Blacksmithing, One of the few places in the city where armor can be custom made... by Barne himself no less! - The Underground Liar, a Secret lab created by the developers, not many people are aware of its existence.
