Add Baryon Bough to Spider’s Inventory
I play this game nearly every day and have since launch. However, I NEVER spend time in planetary spaces, nor do I feel that I should be forced to do so.
I play endgame content - raids and pvp.
Because of that, enhanced perks are important to me. Most of my main armor sets have enhanced perks for different builds. However, because they most come from Dreaming City or Last Wish Raid, they all require Baryon Bough for infusion.
I NEVER want to run around like I’m gathering blueberries and blackberries from every bush in a planetary space just so I can use the gear I already worked hard to earn.
Gathering planetary materials is not fun, is not rewarding and while I’ve never tried to hack a game in any way, I would happily take any way to bypass this collection requirement if it were available. It drives me nuts.
I don’t think planetary materials should exist in the first place. But if you’re going to force an unrewarding system and sell most of them at spider... then put them all at spider.
This causes me to absolutely WASTE an hour of my time every week or two to gather more baryon bough. It’s not fun, it’s not enjoyable. And it’s skill-less.
In continuation of this system, when Shadowkeep drops, please have Spider well planetary recourses for the Moon immediately too, not a year later, please. I dislike the entire resource system for infusion, but if it has to be there, please make the vendor sell/exchange everything.
Bungie, you’re doing a good job with the game here in the last 12 months. Please fix this quality of life issue.

4 답변i can't believe 100 people upvoted this. I have deleted 1000s of those things because you can't turn them into petra for anything like other vendors. I hope the devs ignore this as adding it will waste a slot of other, actually valuable, plantery materials in spiders inventory.

2 답변I upvotes this thinking it was satire, but are you serious? Have you never done blind well or ascendant challenges? Baryon Bough is literally the easiest thing to get in the whole game!

2 답변You don’t need baryon boughs to upgrade anything in the first place. Plus they are the easiest material to get by far. World mats are actually useful so you can’t just spam upgrade your gear, along with masterwork cores. You’re not being forced to collect materials of any type and I think you should just stop complaining about working for materials when it takes legit 10 minutes.

Considering how doing the dreaming city bounties will probably get you higher level dreaming city gear, I don't see how this is that much of an issue. Maybe just don't infuse every time you get something that's 1 light higher? Plus if you actually did the bounties you'd get plenty. It's not like it's a hardship to hold a button as you run past the mat or chest, either. There are plenty of things broken in this game, but this is definitely not one of them.

I remember running with gamers to see who could get to the chest first or go a different pattern that would mess theirs up 😄 Later, Bungie added all the material to be able to purchase if I'm correct other then Warmspore. You know what would help with this and some might agree and some not. This tying everything to all characters not allowing them to have their own inventory sucks. Anytime you use any material you're screwed if you have other things to level up on other characters. How things are set up now is worse than D1 the same time both games have been out.

Everyone does at least one thing in Destiny every week that they hate doing. I HATE crucible. Yet I spend at least an hour every week in crucible getting my Powerful Gear. My son hates Strikes and Gambit, he thinks there boring and repetative. Yet he does them every week for Powerful Gear. I'm not disagreeing with you that the game is majorly flawed with making people do things they hate, but with the right planetary ghost on, you can find chests and materials pretty quickly. Now if there was only a ghost that could help me kill people in crucible....

2 답변Spider doesn’t have any associates in the Dreaming City, so he has no inventory. Now, I would be thrilled if he started taking Baryon Burroughs as a currency in exchange for glimmer, other mats, and cores (until Bungie finally listens to the community and removes cores completely.)

1 답변I take you've never been farm on D1 Mars and had to follow the best route to collect SMH, lazy, it took hours to upgrade gear back in the day

5 답변작성자: FunK 6/25/2019 10:57:40 PMI agree that Spider should trade Baryon. I'd like to use them for other mats since I have about 3,800 of them (after dismantling 3-4k a while back for vault space). Speaking of vault space. Why is it someone with one character gets 500 slots and someone with 3 chars still only gets 500 slots? It's a constant issue for me having to make room by deleting things that I wanted to collect or versions of weapons / armor that are great rolls but not in the current meta.

Clearly, you never played Vanilla D1... Spent so much time just doing patrols to farm materials. I think an easier fix would be to make patrols more rewarding. I also miss leveling up your weapons as well. Have to grind it out for a while just to get all the perks unlocked.
