Lol... Bungie didn't even go for the "ol banana in the tailpipe " tactic.
They told the playerbase what the rewards were going to be for this IB, introduce the grind for it and Destiny's players eat this garbage up.
If you think this was bad, wait until D2 goes F2P . It will be 10x worse, but if you are willing to pay for silver .....you can progress at a faster rate, with cool cosmetics.
Destiny as a whole has changed, I'm sure most agree.... from what it was first envisioned as, to where it stands today.
This game just cant find its identity based on ongoing decisions by its creators. Just look at the population playing as proof.
Only thing to do is chase/grind god- roll legendaries weapons ...to repeat the same mundane activities, we have been doing for the past 8 mos.
Let alone we have so out-leveled the content...you can achieve it all by dual wielding Sidearms and any heavy in slot... if ya wanted.
Imho... Bungie should have continued building off where D1 ended, instead of this whole D2 debacle and decision to basically resell us D1 content for a second time.
Shame on you Bungie !

작성자: UncleObscene 6/20/2019 8:11:43 AMCyberpunk piqued my interest long ago so yeah. Fortnite was actually alright for a few seasons. Havent played in a while though. But yeah ....plenty more games coming up this fall/holiday season to not continue Destiny's yet unfounded path. Remember a couple weeks ago ...? Bungie announced they've found their way and what they want Destiny to be, more of an RPG and MMO....nearly 6yrs into the 10yr model. When it was their outlook in its inception. Something is amiss..no ?

I spent a few bucks on this game and I still get entertainment.

Something was a miss. Activision. They directed D2 to be more casual friendly. Bungie agreed in order to get their bonuses. Shouldn't fault them for that, imo. They've only been free of Activision pulling their strings for about a month now. You should be more patient, and at least wait and see how things go in September. They now have a chance to make the Destiny universe, closer to what they always wanted/intended. And yeah sounds like it will be more grindy. Sounds awesome to me. And that's coming from someone who works 40+ hours a week. I find grinds relaxing. I know many can't stand them, but it scratches my old WoW itch. So I'm stoked about the future.

I don't think anybody minds a little grind for something worthwhile. Reskins are very very lazy for being 2019, especially, when you surround a 3 week/month season around it right before an expansion in which will you vault it again anyways. If it were a decent, new design/theme...it would be a different story.

Except.. The player population has gone to over a million, so quite a bit more than the 18k it seems? So whatever you say about this fantasy about player numbers dwindling to try and support the argument for the game going wrong somehow, doesn't really work. Sure, D2 is different ti D1. It will be, they are separate games. Shadowkeep looks like it's going to be quite good, with them adding more RPG elements and other new thungs in general.. The moon is back. You say you'll stop playing in September... But so what? If you don't want to play the game, then don't it's your choice. Plenty of other people will keep on playing it though, more than the ones who won't be I imagine. Also, what are you talking about with them making sliver linked to progression? I know the Everserse changes have been pretty poor as of late, but c'mon that's just ridiculous.
Crawling back to 1 million players In the 3rd week of June 2019 after selling 14 million units is a great accomplishment to boast about.
I was not saying it was anything to boast about, just pointing out that the number you said was quite the exaggeration. But to say it is now over a million again, shows that there is at the least a growing interest in the game.
Whole IB season grind for one set of reskinned Y1 IB armor ? No wonder Bungie keeps giving us garbage content...yet you folks eat it up, while the playerbase is still hemorrhaging.
You don't just get the "one set of the armour" though, it'll unlock it in the rank up IB Engrams too. I never got to play year 1 IB, so personally I really don't mind that it's the same. Also, people have asked for year 1 armour to be given random rolls for how long, exactly? Is Bungie adding to the game precisely what people have asked for really giving them "garbage" as you put it? Also, the grind really isn't a whole seasons worth. That's an exaggeration if I've ever heard one for sure.. Anybody who is half decent and leveled up a decent amount can get it done for three separate characters within this week. If not that, then on two characters and the majority for a third until the next Iron Banner.

Your normal player is not going to grind all 3 characters in one week. Yes...These IB quests are season long. For those that do get it all done in one week.... most wont be playing IB come next month. Only time IB gets love is when there is new items to get... except these are Reskins. Sad thing is .....that crucible has been starved for content for over a year that reskins are a like Christmas presents to the players that enjoy it.

Havent played IB, not playing it for the same armor I already have in collections. If it was a quest for some NEW armor sure I would play...no problem. " the lipstick on the pig doesn't change the fact it's still a pig" is all. Not a hard concept to grasp.
