What’s the max you get if you only play on one character? Cause I ain’t touching my hunter or warlock

The mear fact this post exists proves the economy and need to these cores is broken. Game design 101. If players are coming up with exploits and work arounds for item economy, that economy system is broken.

You just gave some good reasons why this system sucks. Players don't want to be forced to do things they don't want to do. This is more like a chore than having fun.

Better make sure you login every day to do your Enhancement Chores. What a snooze fest. Get on every single day to do the same content over and over and over again. There isn't a weapon or piece of armor in the game worth that anymore.

Thanks for the tip. Enhancement cores may be easier to obtain and may not be a problem for some, but if they simply vanished from the game, I am pretty sure that nobody would miss them. Or be wishing for them to return in the future.

I have plenty of cores...but i still think they should be removed from infusion. Doing as noted in the post is not fun gameplay, but boring lazy development practices.

You just pointed out exactly what is wrong with the infusion system... the player should NEVER be forced to do a chore list for something as basic as infusion... resources should build up passively from just playing the game normally...if your required to play in a abnormal way or jump through hoops then its broken....

why have fun when you could farm cores

Fast and easy way to make the entire game less tedious: Remove cores from infusion.

No one should be complaining about Cores this season. They are basically awarded for playing the game.

If you just pick them up every day you will complete them just by playing, you don't need to go out and farm it like this unless your v short on time.

My favorite thing is how the destiny community constantly threatens to love to borderlands 3 when it comes out, but they’ll never last in a game like that because that game had REAL grind

I mean funny thing is you don't really even need to do something like this for them. I went into patrol and finished 3 bounties nearly simultaneously just by tweaking my loadout the ever-so-slightest amount and killing a few things. It was a matter of like 5 minutes total, and only because I was on my way to alton dynamo to loot the werner chest that was there. Not only that, but people forget a few things: 1. You can buy 2 cores per day per account from Spider for 30 legendary shards. I've heard some say that's just too much everyday, but honestly in the time I play daily (typically just below 4 hours) I make that many back at the very least. Good way to get some also: Clear your vault out of stuff you don't need or want. Might even get some cores or matterweaves too. 2. If you just, you know, play the game, you'll be getting 7 more cores per character per week. How is that? The Clan XP engram from Hawthorne. If you're efficiently leveling you should be getting this every week anyway and probably should continue to get it even if not leveling. Now, I've heard the excuse that "Well I don't have a clan so I can't!" But that honestly isn't an excuse. If you're here on the forums telling me that you don't have a clan, you could be using that time to look through the Recruitment page on here and find one of the random spam clans and join them. 3. Just simply by playing the game and dismantling items as you go (I know I trashed maybe 20ish legendaries yesterday or so) you will get quite a few cores. Yesterday for example I got 5 cores out of dismantles and 3 finest matterweave, then on top of that I also claimed my 7 from Hawthorne just because I was playing Mayhem and doing strikes for a while. 4. Time and time again people get so annoyed about me saying not to mindlessly infuse, but I just don't understand why... I get that you really wish you had the freedom to waste your resources by infusing your piece of armor up a single power level, but at the same time not only would that allow a lot faster boosting for those streamers (that I know this community "loves") and the upper level players, but it would be a lot worse overall for you. You're telling me you'd rather either go spend shards or glimmer to Spider or go sit in a patrol zone collecting materials all because you infused away your 75 simulation seeds? (Idk just needed a resource) I can tell you now that's a lot more boring to me than just putting a scout rifle and sword on for 5 minutes and killing a few things for a few cores. 5. Destiny 2 is going to be getting a lot more like an MMORPG. This means a few good things for those that complain about the core issue. 1. Armor 2.0 is coming and it seems to be promising. 2. Bungie is probably either going to change the core economy for 2.0 or add even [b]more[/b] ways to get them. Finally, I just want to wrap up by saying this. You're probably a genuine and passionate player that actually cares about what's said on here and doesn't just freak out at the slightest difference of opinion. Would I miss cores in infusion if they were gone? - Nope, just would make me stockpile a lot more cores Do I think cores in infusion is good as is? - Not really. I mean personally I don't have much of an issue with it because I don't infuse often and I'm sitting on 70-some cores, but I feel the amount of cores in infusion at the very least could be lessened (like from 1 core cost to none, 2 to 1, and 3 to 2) but I also wouldn't oppose them being removed either. I just don't think their removal is a necessary. Should cores be more easy to come by? - No. There's already so many ways to get them. I mean, I gained 20+ in the past 3 days alone and that was only playing 2 characters, both only getting the clan xp engrams, only doing 3 bounties, and getting a few from dismantling. They're really easy to get honestly and I don't have to go out of my way to get them either. Do I grind and play for hours on end? - Rarely. In fact the weekends are the only days where I can get over maybe 3-4 hours in each day. I've grinded lately but not for cores, but instead for imperials and runes in Mayhem (and also because I enjoy Mayhem a lot more than most PvP) and also for the Wendigo GL3 but that's been it. I play for short amounts of time, work, sleep, and hang out with people otherwise, and as such according to most cores should be a pain for me, but they really just aren't. In summary: Yes, this post is absolutely massive. Yes I do actually play this game. No I'm not some massive fanboy of Bungie or any of that (if anything I mainly like the lore) but what I am instead is someone who enjoys the game in its current state. Things can always be tweaked and QoL changes can always be added, but overall Bungie has built a beautiful game and universe thats kept me entertained for nearly 5 years.
