Well, there's a line between an inside joke and harassment. That line is different for every person and some folks draw a hard line in the sand on what they think is funny. It can be annoying to hear someone make that same joke again and again, even more so when it's at your expense. All in all, it looks like tiger decided to draw a hard line in the sand on this one and I can respect that even if I have no idea what actually went down.

[spoiler]the joke isn't funny anymore, and it was sort of mean spirited to begin with, but he never laughed it off, I even PM'd him saying it was all just a lark and he shouldn't let it bother him. Liking Tigers is not a crime.[/spoiler]
