All the nerfs announced in the TWAB are BS, upvote to stop this
No reason for anything to get nerfed, whisper was already in a better place with the ammo nerf, LoW was strong but it didn't need a nerf, everything else is also dumb.
Don't even get me started on the armor nerfs, they are not needed and hurt already bad exotics

2294 답변To be clear, these changes will be in the next update. We'll be taking feedback from players who are responding to the changes on paper, and will continue to take feedback after players get the weapon/armor in their hands and are able to test it out for themselves. Do you really think the average joe guardian would have made it accross the Reckoning Tier 3 bridge without Phoenix protocol, orpheus rigs and the skull of dire ahamkara? Exotics should be OP. Then the grind rewards get nerfed? The whole point of doing these long hard questilines is to get an weapon that makes the grind worth it. Then they NERF it. Bungie is holding juicy carrots in front of us to get us to do quests and then replacing them with mini carrots. What they dont quite realize is that people like me have put in 100 days of game play in D2 and I could play any game. I enjoy fallout and borderlands, but have mained D2. If Bungie will not listen to their games fan base it will fade away. I will move on to Fallout and then Borderlands 3 with D2 as a side game. Will I be interested in D2 anymore? Will I be interested in D3? IDK. Maybe if Bungie gets a clue.

2 답변“In our hands?” Haven’t we lived this scenario previously with Black Hammer and Spindle? We know how this works, we lived it. WotW and SS aren’t some random drop junk exotic, they are exotics we had to work hard to get. The reward should reflect the work put on. I can only reason that these nerfs are happening because of the new upcoming raid. Remember when they seemingly for no reason nerfed ToM? Had they not , it would have melted the boss in WotM. To me, the bigger question is after the great White Nail Nerf of 2016, why did they even bother bringing it back? The world may never know...

Someone there is making real bad decisions and it all seems to be like you are ruining this game on purpose. I don't know if you are doing this so people will get D3 but I can safely say I will not ever buy another Destiny game nor another annual pass. You have to be one of the worst developers I've ever come across and I'm surprised you are still in business.

This has the most upvotes I’ve ever seen...and yet it’s still being pushed aside and ignored by Bungie with that bullshit response... “We respect your opinions and we’ll keep this in mind” or whatever was said.

3 답변Yeah, not really a fan of how Bungie went about this, and really makes no sense. I can understand toning down things that drastically unbalanced the game (esp. for PvP) but nerfing things that people weren't even complaining about by preemptively nerfing them before they've even become a problem seems like going to the opposite extreme compared to their previous 'laissez-faire' attitude towards grossly unbalancing weapons, armor, supers, etc. where they would let players exploit these OP things at the expense of other players' fun.

1 답변Go make new exotics that players will want to use over these current exotics that are being nerfed. Common sense says you cant without making all content auto easy mode. Thats what everyone whining about these nerfs dont get, in the long term these exotics as they are trivialize the end game and make creating new items for players to use without trivializing the content pretty much impossible, nerfing them is the best thing, it sucks ALOT but it makes sense. Granted along side these nerfs should be some freakin reworks/buffs to the pretty much non existent exotics, like the trick-sleeves for example rework those to where someone would actually want to use them.

Great post, disappointing to see a CM manager in here making a comment from what we thought was “old Bungie”. The days of “we know better then you so like what we give you or we will just tell everyone you like it” were supposed to be behind us with the new “we’re listening” era. That lasted a few weeks then it was business as usual. This thread goes to show that Bungie aren’t listening to, and aren’t really talking with, the community.

I like that there's an "answer" to a non question listed for this topic. There needs to be another way to highlight bungie commentary, it unfortunately comes off as " nothing to see here, we already got this, no need for more discussion" and im sure thats not what the mods want it to come off as.
