D.A.R.C.I as special ammo
Reduce crit damage in crucible as a trade off. It’s an exotic so it should stand out but not in the power slot.

17 답변"iT oUt dAMaGeS WhiSpeR!" Ok, so why don't you use it? Whisper has infinite ammo. That's what makes it good. DARCI hits hard when locked on. That's what makes it good. Fact is, nobody uses DARCI anywhere outside of the scourge boss and Outbreak Perfected, a PRIMARY weapon, out damages DARCI. Any argument made against making it a special weapon is irrelevant and you're an idiot if you try to say it's fine as a heavy. Period.

2 답변It could be tuned for the special slot forreal. Crit like I said, maybe increase the lock-on time. Make it both slots, when in special disable some features or reduce. While in power just leave it in its full form. That’s far out but forreal. The impact isn’t too extreme when not buffed. Plus the lock on is difficult in crucible anyway because of movement. Long range yes, short-mid that lock on buff is hard to get.

1 답변It’s hard to choose between my Suros or D.A.R.C.I during a match. I don’t like switching out when power is about to pop. I don’t have whisper so I cannot conpare

The ones where you only dps for a few seconds or to a certain threshold. It holds like 7 in the Mag and high 20s for reserves and picks up 8 shots a brick without any scavengers or reserves perks. With the catalyst you can pop off 7 box breathing heavy ammo tier damage shots as fast as you can pull the trigger. In a Luna faction rift it's second to none. None. Again whisper is great but not the slightest bit forgiving against an agile target or phase mechanics. If you Nerf it to special it'll literally be a wasted exotic slot equivalent to every other sniper in the game that rolls box breathing. As far as crucible goes. It doesn't matter what you do to it. If you're using whisper or Darci in pvp you're doing it wrong. This thing melts in gambit prime, trust. Leave it heavy. It's a monster. All these people hating just haven't used it effectively and think the whisper is the only good dps sniper. You want to know what taking a weapon from heavy and putting it in special does? Ask merciless. It went from king dps to less than nothing(though I use it in pvp for fun because of the catalyst range and tight grouping, erentil destroys it in every category, rip)

6 답변I’d disagree. Its currently higher on DPS then WOW. In my mind it is in a great spot and doesn’t need a nerf/buff. While whisper has more possible ammo (with its perk) DARCI beats it with its fire rate and increased Percision damage.

It's the same with Luna/NF where it's fine in PvE but it needs a nerf in order to save PvP (Though I disagree with the perk change, I think it should stay the same, the RPM change does relate to this) Edit: An explanation to why it would "ruin" PvE Darci is an incredible DPS weapon, which is it's primary purpose like Whisper for example, and if you make it special, you in turn give players an incredible DPS tool that gets tons of ammo.

4 답변Why? There are plenty of good secondary snipers and only 2 heavy snipers. With the Whisper nerf DARCI us the only good one left.

1 답변It also has crazy aim assist so unless you want them to nerf that. (Aka take away its exotic aspect) let’s have it stay where it is.
