I’d like to see FromSoftware do a Mario game. Where it takes Mario 15 hours and hundreds of deaths to slog through a level only to be crushed by Bowser in 5 seconds flat.

It’s a really good game. But it’s also really hard. It takes a lot of precise timing and thumb skills to beat the bosses. Honestly it was too hard for me and I reluctantly gave up before finishing it. But if you’re good at platformers then I would highly recommend it.

No it’s the boss fights I found too hard. The platforming was hard in places but not as hard as the boss fights. Sekiro was the same. The bits between the boss fights were fine but the boss fights themselves were brutal. Overall I would say Sekiro was harder than Hollow Knight though - I was just a lot more motivated to beat Sekiro because I love FromSoftware games. If you’re having trouble with Sekiro I would say stick with it. The first few areas of the game are brutal but it does get easier. That game has a steep learning curve but once you get the hang of the combat it becomes easier. It just takes a while to click.

It's just that Sekiro relies on precise reactions and movements, and I'm no good at that kind of thing. I struggled a lot with Metroid: Samus Returns for the same reason, and Sekiro demands even more precision and speed.
