Would explain the “Lord” in his name.
And I’m pretty sure “throwing in with Saladin and Felwinter” confirms he was an Iron Lord at some point as well

would rather argue that he sided with them, not that he became an Iron Lord. we already knew he had been an apprentice to Saladin along with Zavala so we know he had been on the same side with the Lords already but it is never clearly stated that he was an IRON lord, only that he was a lord.

No it doesn’t. “Throwing in” with someone means fighting with them. Not exactly “joining them”. Plus, Saladin and Felwinter were Warlords before they became Iron Lords, so..even if Shaxx joined them when he did, they were all Warlords by then. Not Iron Lords

Saladin most certainly was a warlord. Not all warlords were bad. But most were. The Iron Lords were formed to unify the warlords for the common good. Warlords who refused to cooperate were perma-killed. They never stopped being warlords, they just changed their reasons for doing what they did.

작성자: pherless 4/22/2019 12:08:13 AMDude, you need to read the lore. They were warlords who decided to consolidate their power, and went after other warlords who abused their gift. Anyone who relented and gave up their territory was allowed to join them. Same concept, just for different reasons. Felwinter and Shaxx both confirm this. Most of the Iron Lords came from the warlords, but a couple were either Pilgrim Guard or just wanderers who decided being alone wasn't beneficial anymore. Saladin was the warlord to end all warlords. Just because he was never evil doesn't mean he wasn't a warlord.

Just because Saladin didn’t have the title “warlord” does not mean he wasn’t. Where do you think “iron lord” came from. In the dark age lords were lords. People who had more power then others. Ya he didn’t go around killing people like other warlords did but that Dosent mean he isn’t one.

작성자: HollowedWayfarer 4/24/2019 12:52:43 AMThe Iron Lords were based on medieval knights, upholding codes of honor and chivalry, so of course they’d have those titles. But just because they have the titles it doesn’t mean that they’re Warlords. Warlords in the Dark Age conquered territories and ruled over survivors of the Collapse, typically with an iron fist. Whereas the Warlords were conquerers and rulers, the Iron Lords were merely protectors. They didn’t conquer settlements and rule like Kong’s and queens. They were Guardians to the people and protected them.
