Clearly the people who buy into that philosophy aren't confident enough to actually take off their Dust Rock Blues/Luna's Howl/Wardcliff Coil setup, though. Gotta use the busted weapons just in case they lose if they didn't have them on, in the mightiest arena in all of Crucible - Quick Play.

You realise there were several different metas and seasons before NF/Dustrock became a thing and none of you guys complaining now were doing much better back then just as nobody that was doing great now did any worse back then. If anything is clear its that people cannot admit their own short comings and it's 100% everyone elses fault that they suck.

Do you even know what the past seasons were like? No access to special weapons. No pinnacle weapons. Worse Supers. Slower TTK. There will absolutely be people who did better back then because the slower pace of the game suited them, and people who are doing better now that the game has changed. You are really in denial about Not Forgotten. Just because it's hard to get, it shouldn't be broken. Just because there's always a meta, we shouldn't be forced to stick with this one just because you like it more than others. Use an Auto Rifle in a lobby full of NF users. Try using a Sidearm, see if you don't get Shotgunned into oblivion. Try using a Scout Rifle, the gun that has been displaced from the game entirely. Do those things and tell me you don't think stuff needs to change. You might say that other weapons need to be buffed. Maybe in some cases of severe underperformers, but across the board? No way, time-to-kill values are similar to where they were in D1, that no one had issue with. It's just Luna's Howl and Not Forgotten that are way out of line.

To a degree yes but fundamentally, the meta changed, not the level of peoples skill. I highly doubt if you are a below average player now, you were much better in previous seasons. Because the people that are good now were still good in previous seasons and you'd still face people with way higher PvP IQ's that just knew how to play better than you. Maybe the change in meta to it's current state has widened the gap between skilled and unskilled players but the original point remains, if you nerf LH and NF, stupid players won't suddenly become smart and know how to play the game And i'm not in denial over NF, i've used the gun extensively and that's exactly why i know it doesn't need a nerf. I've not won every 1v1, i've been outgunned by things i should never be outgunned by according to the community. The gun is good, t's great, but it absolutely is not the be-all-end-all gun all the players that get killed by it have hyped it up to be, and the only reason it's so prevalent on console is because of the stupid bloom on other HC's. It has absolutely nothing to do with TTK. If you go to PC then you'll see that Lunas and NF have virtually 0 meta presence. Also if you actually look at a current sandbox TTK spreadsheet, 0.67 is marginally above average. There are things that go in your primary slot with 0.47 ttks and the average ttk hovers around that and 0.73. We are literally talking about fractions of a second here. And i can make the same argument about auto rifles in a lobby of pulse rifles, so should pulse rifles be nerfed? Or more likely are auto rifles still in a bad spot and that's why the community has wanted these things buffed??? And i use Scouts and side arms ALL THE TIME. In fact in another post another user challenged me to do the same thing and said i should use graviton and a sidearm in a lobby full of lunas and i did. Know what changed? NOT A DAMN THING. 37 elims, 5KD first match of the day on pacifica which is Shotgun heaven. People just need to either learn to play the game they have and utilize the tools given to them or stop blaming their lack of skill on the fact that other players use certain guns. Before i ever had a lunas i would run redrix and death by scorn/retold tale and would drop just as many, if not more elims per match than i do now. My record for kills in a match is 52 opps defeated, 50 of those being final blows, what guns did i use? Inaugural address and smugglers word. Have i even come close since then with NF and dustrock, have i fvck. Bungie is constantly providing more options for people and people just refuse to take the hand reaching out to them. You think the service revolver with random rolls is just an accidental, lucky dip decision bungie made or do you think it's a direct answer to provide PvE players with a counter to the current meta without having to play competitive.

How deluded are you to think that players that have reached 5500 can't win a single game without NF. Like, you realise we had to get to 5500 first to actually get the gun right, it wasn't just in our hands since vanilla D2 and most of us had to face NF users before we had our own NF's. But yeah, right, we couldn't win a single match without them. A factual statement would have been that players like you couldn't win a match even if you DID have them.

Out of curiosity how many 50 kill streaks do you have without using the meta so no lunas howl,no not forgotten,no dust rock blues and now spectral blades or blade barage and certaintly not with that super glitch that hunters had with gwisen vest

Well consider me severely unimpressed. Also since i can't use a shotgun, you can't use a fusion. The rules are retty standard so no exotic weapons or armor, no heavy, no supers. We can use blue weapons unless you're chicken.
