It doesn't matter who leaves or who stays anymore. The higher-ups with their lovely investment team will never change so this means the game will never get the attention it so badly needs to improve it. The sandbox lead leaving could be a good or bad thing, but knowing the higher ups it will most likely be a bad thing and things will get worse from here. So I guess enjoy the roller coaster...

14 답변As much fun as I’ve had through the lifetime of D1 and D2, no other game has frustrated me as much due to: Things taking too long to be addressed or not addressed at all. Twisting suggested changes into their own spin that isn’t what players asked for. Developer pig headedness just flat out refusing to change annoying systems people constantly say they would like changed. PvP that has no fun sense of balance. I’m actually at the point where if I heard Bungie closed its doors and Destiny was done for, I’d have some odd sense of satisfaction. It’s become a game I hate to love and love to hate.

I don't know these people and don't care at all. They weren't fired. They made a personal decision and good for them. I wish them the best of luck wherever they go, and just like a player leaving my team for free agency, I'm optimistic the new person will work as well or better with the team.

Hamrick and Weisnewski did a lot of good for this game and their leaving is a loss for the studio, game and community. If you don't have anything to say except shitty comments, keep them to yourselves.

If Bungie post-Activision are looking at their personnel and a few changes/departures occur then surely that’s a good thing. The worst thing after spending all that money to buy the franchise outright would be just more of the same. Both of the recent departures are related to underperforming departments. I wish both of them well but the sandbox needs more regular tuning and PvP needs an overhaul. Some fresh blood is a good idea.

Yeah, nothing against those guys, but the game isn’t exactly a-freaking-mazing right now. They could be two guys that were fighting to change it, the others didn’t share their vision so they left. Or, they were at the end of their creative rope with Destiny and needed a change. Either way, I’m ready for some fresh blood. Bring it!

Both said they had thought about leaving for awhile and are working on other projects that they can’t find. Usually the reason people leave the team, is because they don’t fit with the direction the game is going, especially sandbox designers. My guess is they want fresh eyes or they are going in new directions with the game.

4 답변So this Jon character has something to do with pvp, and he's leaving? Thank God! Pvp in destiny is horrible, unimaginative and uninspired. The levels are pre-school design and the overall game design is poor compared to games of 10/15 years ago.

If any of that is true then it should be a good thing. I mean season of the drifter is a historic bad moment from bungie right their with curse of osris.
