Bungo. I'm done. Read this or not, I don't care.
I've been exhausted from Destiny for a bit now, and maybe that's a huge contributing factor, but I can't possibly justify myself playing anymore. Today, I played through some of Deus Ex : Mankind Divided again, and realized what it meant to be excited to play a game, to delve deeper into a level and story, and come out stronger from the rewards in exploration. Then, I switched over to Destiny 2, took a stroll around the tower, looked at the content available and just... quit.
Bungo. I love gaming, and in all my years playing games, talking about opinions of games, discussing controversy in gaming, I have never been so physically exhausted of a game; that I turn it on, only to turn it right off. Thank you for the memories with the franchise in the past, but I can't keep supporting someone who refuses to listen to the community, and only implement some form of change MONTHS after MONTHS worth of outcry and feedback, not only from major content creators, but your own forums.
I think with this new space available to me, I could do... more. Maybe even complete some games completely, without the pressure to remove them for space. Maybe, I'll finally get lost in a game again. All things considered, I know I'll wake up excited to play something, compared to grinding out the chore that is now Destiny.
Bungo. I'm sick of it. Don't expect me back.

2 답변Doesn't anyone just stop playing a game they're tired of anymore? Why all you guys gotta come on here with your pointless goodbyes? Nobody, not even Bungie gives a damn. Put the game on the shelf and do something else.

1 답변Maybe they'd consider your feedback* if you weren't constantly insulting their intelligence by purposefully misspelling their company name in a derogatory fashion. * Of course you people who constantly insult them don't have any suggestions on how to actually improve the game most of the time, so it's unlikely they'd bother to begin with.

"I swearsies and promisies I am leaving!" - 2 weeks later you'll be back. If you've come on these forums hoping to get a few sympathy likes, you're in the wrong forum. If I decide to leave, I won't come here to announce it. Grow up.

What’s up with all these “I’m leaving posts” It’s not like Bungie is gonna see this post and go “Woop we lost one, better do whatever we can to get him back” The weird part is the ones who announce that they are leaving end up playing the next day. Odd

I played that Deus Ex game a year or two after it came out. I owned it at launch and wondered why I took so long to get to it. I played that game cover to hover and loved it. I would like to give the Witcher 3 the same chance too.

What I find interesting about all these, "I quit Bungie," posts, are when people complain about feeling burnt out or that things have gotten stale. That will happen any time you put hundreds if not over a thousand hours into 1 game. Your typical game, doesn't have hundreds of hours of play time, excluding pvp based games. Destiny isn't a typical game/universe. And since it can never be truly beaten, people need to take breaks from time to time. Or face burn out. I truly do feel for the OP, and others like him, but no one is forcing any of us to play. It is on you to recognize your burn out and take a break.

Bungie are just plain incompetent at this point, you may be better off directing your feedback towards someone like Unkown player or Datto or the likes. Maybe just slip in a D2 feedback request amongst the video replies for example ;) Go back to D1 for your Destiny fix that’s where a lot of us are ;) it’s the better game
