Mote draining, invasion spam and primeval having invulnerable shields...not good. This needs to change.

17 답변Remember how the community always says how much they enjoy bosses that have immunity phases? I'm glad they are listening.

all of those changes are great. you have to understand that Gambit Prime is the same experience Comp brought. if you go in solo, be ready for a rough time. Coordinated teams/stacks are built to succeed. Theres even armor/roles around the entire game mode for that purpose.

7 답변Then don’t play it. It’s that simple. There are many people who find gambit prime fun. And if you suck and can’t find anyone on lfg your clan or your friends list that sad. It’s just gambit with a little more added to it. The most fun part is getting the roe king sets and testing them.

7 답변i played one game and enjoyed it. Then my friends got on Apex and I logged off. there is no super cool draw for me with this xpac. But gambit prime is good, you just aren't. sorry, your mom was lying to you.

4 답변I actually like gambit prime but the problem i have is I'm bored with the rest of the game i have no interest in doing the same activities I've already done a thousand times for higher light level of gear I've seen and used. Played two games of gambit prime looked at the flash point and said fk this and logged back out.

작성자: Bleu, Lord of Divinity 3/6/2019 3:50:28 PMI love how you say this needs to change and then don't suggest ways it could change or even why it needs to change in the first place
Mote draining
This only happens when you either let blockers pile up at the bank or when an invader stands next to the bank quite frankly if you let either of these happen its your own damn fault it is very easy to prevent mote draining
invasion spam
This was in the original gambit as well its just kinda part of the game its very simple to deal with just wait until after someone has invaded before starting damage phase on the boss
primeval having invulnerable shields
You cant just melt the boss whenever you want??? what is this trash it needs to be changed immediately. /s You can still melt the boss it just takes a little finesse instead of just bashing your head against your controller/keyboard

I didn't think it was possible to make Gambit worse (with all the feedback they've been provided), but they still managed to do it. At least with Gambit, you had a chance to work as a team in the boss DPS phase. Now your team is forced to split up (in an attempt at efficiency) and run all over hell and tarnation to chase envoys in between boss immunity shields (which everyone loves). Running with randoms, it guarantees "chickens with their heads cut off", and inevitably getting themselves killed in far flung places. Also, the invader spam at the end actually encourages bad invaders to camp portals which only adds to the frustration. One round was an improvement, everything else was made worse.

21 답변Yeah...I went solo with randoms. We got stomped quite nicely so I just went after the other team. That was fun...ran the clock down and prevented the boss kill. I like the map. Looked nice and felt good. But the game mode is to try hard for me. It seems much of the game is going try hard and “end game” content. Are a majority of players asking for this stressful time consuming stuff? I’m not knocking the folks that enjoy it and I get challenging activity....but I game for fun and relaxation....and this is anything but. I enjoyed the D1 flavor. Tough was NF and Raids...but manageable...and fun. D2 is moving further and further from my interests by creating content not compatible with my lifestyle. It just feels sickening and unhealthy the amount of time required to play this video game. Gaming used to be a fun hobby. Turn it on, play, jump off. Repeat. It did not monopolize your being...your focus. It’s just a game. Now life is the hobby and the game is life. Too much. I’d like more story content and less try hard stuff. I don’t know...the more try hard it becomes...the less I feel like playing. I’m glad they still have the original mode...think I’ll stay there. This new mode is just not fun to me. I’m glad some enjoy it.

It definitely needs some balancing done. Last night I ran 4x to get my power engram. Lost 3 out of 4 times. One of the 3 we lost the opposing team summoned their primeval very quickly (4 stack team) I am almost positive that our side did little to no invasions and yet it seemed to take forever for the other team to down their primeval. Enough time for us to bank from almost 0 to 100 motes, and start working on our own primeval before they finally killed theirs. I know some of this is because its new and people arent used to the new mechanics (boss remains immune until 2, then a 3rd envoy are killed). However, even with that it seems some of the phases should be tweaked a bit. Also, can we get something other than Vex?!?

작성자: burton528hz 3/6/2019 4:58:46 PMTotally disappointed with this trash. One round is good but it’s still way too long. It’s artificially extended by BS boss shielding. Kill all the envoys, get the light up damage dealing circle, get sniped from Annie Oakley vandal from across the map, run all the way back to the fight from spawn just in time for boss shield to go back up. Stupid. Maybe the armor perks will make it more interesting but I will only be playing this for weapon quests.

3 답변작성자: Novamicra 3/6/2019 1:42:13 PMI join you at 200% people; I will stay on the classic gambit personal: + the good points (there are anyway) . 2 new map but especially one of the shed the other is the tundra c is very blah . an original armor concept but no more . the idea of pop add intruders is nice that come to empty the bank is funny - the bad points (there are too many) . 2 map but ONLY that of the hangar well the other one looks like the siberie no pvp that duve . the armor ONLY the resistances are useful and even for justice so in fact it is useless . a lot of ads but in the end it's disappointing . and then the fight of the primordial is not pvp pve, it is bungie script, kill the envoys, kill the goblins, and after killing the boss no more than 25% and ONLY if you are in the white circle, and that with weapons, doctrines you forget the aoe do not boost them, so basically those who have JOTUN and 1000 votes they won the game before even start because the standard weapons do 0 damage in comparison JOTUN and 1000 voices. Serious I will start on the classic gambit at least it is the ninja pvp in a mode pve no need specific armor, no scrypt or must kill such mob or such mob before you can kill the boss, the weapons are almost equivalent 'even if jotun and 1000 voices are still in front of you) then in the new mode you do no damage and the bosses have 5 times more life and hit MUCH stronger, when I think in his interview the project leader on the season 6 of the gambit declared "we understood the community with the season 6", ben 10 days in 10 days max tlm will be gone on another game and we will see if he really has his community the nerd who has laid the season 6

The concept of gambit prime is good, and actually really good. But here's my issue, there's nothing "competitive" about this gamemode at all IMO. Gambit 1.0 relied heavily on whoever got the first 25 motes for an invasion....I was hoping this Gambit 2.0 wouldn't rely on that heavy strat of "first to 25 motes" strat again, but unfortunately it's the same. I personally think the invasion spam needs to be relooked at. Allowing an invader to go in literally every time me and my team are DPSing is ludicrous. Granted I've been winning pretty much every single match (except for like 1 match) the invasion spam is ridiculous. And I've been winning my matches with a landslide. The gamemode still relies on the same strats as the last one, if your team has the DPS cycle down to a science then you'll have no issues winning. Still the same as Gambit 1.0 with a reskin. Disappointing.
