Didn’t “everyone” want a single round Gambit mode?
We’re literally getting that and more and yet people are still complaining.
Prior to the release of the Annual Pass we all knew it would have Gambit related activities and yet there’s bitching about Gambit related activities? 🤔

Sure we knew it would involve the Drifter and Gambit, but a whole 2 of the 14 blocks in the season say Gambit. And one of those is private matches. Yes, it still came as a bit of a shock to some us to find out that the 14% representation on the roadmap actually meant the meat of the season. And it's another perversion of what was asked for, just like strike specific loot. "Everyone" asked for one round Gambit as we knew it, I don't think everyone would have shared that opinion if they knew it meant sweatier play. I know there's no middle ground in the forums, no one ever manages to see validity in someone else's opinion if it's different. But there's more to it than what you let on.

15 답변Except in the leadup bungie said it wouldn't be centered around playing gambit. Then they were like, its gambit, with more gambit maps, and sweaty gambit, with private match gambit, oh and here is your PVE, locked behind sweaty gambit, with rewards specifically for gambit..... hey, where is everybody going?

Because what they are doing to gambit is going to ruin the game even further. Anything having to with being competitive is what is dividing the community and killing the game. Trials is what started it all next to all the shit PvP modes that only a small minority of players even played which ultimately killed Destiny 1 out right. Then Destiny 2 comes along trials divides the game even further with a very small minority of players playing it which ultimalty got it removed from the game then those players went to competitive mode and ruined that for every dividing the game even further and now gambit prime is going to do the exact same thing. Either have a pre made ready team that you can communicate with and play the game mode or don't even bother with it. Yea it sucks when it turns out that I'm right after season of the drifter starts and you see more posts telling bungies they screwed up even worse and more nerf/buff posts are made and ect posts. Can't wait to see that I'm right again.

4 답변I wasn't asking for a round of Gambit, I was asking for better matchmaking and a fair balance of Invader Spawnpoints and how the invader can be balanced so he is not as OP when he invades with a broken weapon like Queens and Sleeper.

2 답변I for one wanted single rounds, just to get the matches over and done with quickly to get my 3 then my engram. Then it’s wait till refresh and repeat 3 to get engram. Gambit was something new when it dropped now it’s old. Why would they think pushing that game mode a full season would be a good idea. Saying that, Mark Noseworthy and Luke Smith changed the subclass trees to what they are now because Mark Nosebag was too stupid to understand them in D1. Do we really think a game lead by those two will get any better until they get replaced.

34 답변There is a difference between having some gambit related activities and them all revolving around it. You can't sit here and pretend that everyone wanted one round gambit matches, when gambit is the second least played gametype in destiny. The only people that cared about it being one round, are those that actually cared for gambit to begin with. The only upside for those that didn't care, is that if there is something they really want, the annoying activity will be over faster. The majority of people don't like gambit, so why are you surprised, and annoyed that they have complained about it? It makes perfect sense, the entire DLC is about a gametype that they don't care for, and worse yet, it is all about a competitive version of that gametype they didn't care for, before. Voicing their complaints about something like that seems pretty logical. Even the PvE bone that they threw out, is all about stuff for gambit prime, so it feels rather worthless to those that don't care for gambit.

3 답변Bungie is so creative just saying! Now we have stacked gambit matches not just crucible anymore this should be so fun for solo! But don't worry solo players there is matchmaking so you can get video taped by stacked streamer teams for their videos! Sounds so much fun yeah I'm an idiot! What lazy ass game design!
