I completely agree
I do think Anthem is a bad game tho, for a lot of reasons. Lack of endgame, heavy monetization in a full priced game, obvious downgrades from the trailer that hyped everyone up
But I just didn’t like the gameplay, so even if everything above was fixed, I still probably wouldn’t care for it

Most people just don’t understand what they’re looking at and try to play the game like Destiny. None of the MTX are essential to game play. The PC and Xbox1x versions of the game are gorgeous. There are such things as hardware limits. A $500 console is never going to replicate what a $2000 gaming pc can do, and blaming the devs for the limitations of your hardware is ridiculous.

No I’m blaming the devs for intentionally downgrading their game I’m not talking just graphics but the way the game actually plays and works It honestly just sounds like you are trying to make excuses for the company You know, it’s ok for you to enjoy a bad game

I've worked for years on creative media projects with computers and there are very real hardware limitations to what you can do. No $300 PS4 can duplicate what a $3000 or $6000 tricked up gaming PC can do. That $6000 gaming PC has the hardware horsepower to run a game like Anthem at 60 fps+, 4K resolution and Ultra detail...and barely break a sweat. [i][b]Want to know if you tried to run the game on your PS4 with that level of frame rate and graphical intensity? THE GAME WOULD CRASH.[/b] [/i] Your PS4s CPU and graphics card wouldn't be able to keep up with the processing demands being placed on it...and the game would lock up. So any "downgrade' is a concession to what your machine can RUN. My gaming PC has twice as much memory, a fasters CPU, and a Graphics card that puts the PS4 to shame....and my rig can only run the game at 60 fps @1080p on Ultra. If I try to push my rig for greater performance...its starts to bottleneck...and I get nasty, noticeable framerate drops. Even the Xbox 1X is more capable than the PS4 with 50% more memory. A graphics card that is 50 % more powerful than even the PS4 pro. [i][b]When BioWare announced the game...they showed what the game looked like---in engine---on the Xbox 1x. THEY DELIVERED THAT GAME[/b]. [/i] Its one of the first multiplatform games to really leverage the hardware advantage that the 1X has even over the PS4 pro....so much so that I'm actually going to play the game on Xbox. The game is simply gorgeous. It runs at 30fps @4K...and rivals what my PC can do on Ultra. So blaming BioWare for the limits that Sony BUILT into the machines that were underpowered the day they launched is down right silly. Sony knows this, which is why they came out with the Pro....and rumors are circulating that the PS5 will debut next year. [b][/b]

Nah, it’s launched with a patchwork gear system with little content to make it relevant. They even reused story bosses as endgame ones Oh and I hope you enjoy paying $8+ for a skin in a game you already paid for Also how about those downgrades from the trailer, huh?

Have you ever played Diablo 3?? In Diablo 3 THE ENTIRE GAME IS THE END GAME. You continue to play the whole game as difficulty increases and drop chances for the game’s best gear increases. Your just assuming that every game is designed in the same haphazard way that Destiny’s has always been.

I watched the trailer LIVE that day....and I own an Xbox 1X and have played through the campaign on both the Xbox 1x and on PC....as well as playing the game on PS4 pro. So I know EXACTLY what I'm talking about. I've played through the Xbox version of the game in 4K...and the game is simply beautiful. 3. Because you aren't making any kind of argment that is open to discussion. You're just making an ideological PRONOUNCEMENT. With the usual antiquated notion of the "full priced, full game" that plagues console gamers. Read my lips. a. Anthem is not Star Wars Battlefront 2. There is NOTHING in the MTX store that impacts game play. There is nothing but cosmetic items and emotes. b. BioWare has already committed to the fact that all additional content added to the game for the next YEAR will be FREE. c. So once you exhaust the content that the game ships with, Anthem is basically a FTP like Warframe is. Warframe is a NAKEDLY pay-to-progress game....but gets cheers. Apex Legends has lootboxes. Overwatch is a AAA game with cosmetic lootboxes....and NO ONE COMPLAINS. But because BioWare is owned by EA you get all this hypocritical, baseless "outrage". Over an $8 skin that nobody needs....while the same people run over to Fortnite and shell out 3 times as much money for those skins. I'm not "desperate" to defend anything. I just understand how baseless and hypocritical all this shit really is...and am not falling for any of the excuses trying to justify it.

You can’t change that It’s sad too because I was hoping Anthem would be good, but it’s just the same garbage that’s been being released these past few years But I sincerely hope you enjoy farming fetch quests and defense missions for a terrible end game. Oh and paying $8+ for skins, because ya know... Skins in f2p games have been less expensive than that

I've asked you Repeatedly for specific complaints about the game based on YOUR experience with it...and you just keep refusing to answer.
