As some of you may know, advertisers are pulling out of youtube due to a recently uncovered "scandal" in which someone made a video exposing child predators on youtube. Without taking into consideration that Youtube works non-stop to prevent them and that he can't blame an algorithm for suggesting similar content i.e. children's videos with creepy people in the comments, he got a small section of the community up in arms about it. While this is nothing new, he has taken things a step further: he is telling all of his subscribers to alert large companies such as disney or grammarly that these videos exist on the site. This has caused them to pull out, causing another ad-pocalypse. I checked out his original channel for myself, the one that flopped completely, and this is what I saw: I saw death itself. I couldn't even finish some of the videos he made, and this is coming from a total pervert. Will this kill youtube? Probably not, but we're all going to have to endure more painful segments on each youtuber's video about said youtuber's patreon and donations, as it'll be harder for everyone to make money for a bit.
