I truly resent Crimson Days
Crimson Days SUCKED. The only triumph event item to go for, a ghost shell, locked behind wins playing people with Luna’s Howl/Wardcliff/Dust Rock who I will never beat because try harding with meta beats try harding with anything else. This is the first event since this game came out that I literally even considered not going for the event exotic item. It was THAT -blam!-ING DEPRESSING. I ended up stopping because I needed 8 wins. After it took 6 days to get 3. -blam!- you guys. I rarely just make a post strictly in anger, but I’m angry. Events are supposed to be things in which even the average player can acquire the rewards. For Christ’s sake it’s not like Doubles was named Comp! Nobody expected or deserved to play people who’s sole purpose is to win in a playlist for FUN.
Just terrible thought all around. It’s over. I’m not asking for a hand out, that’s how it worked out.
But I’m NOT bad. And if I had trouble MANY others did.
If you’re going to make a community event, make sure the COMMUNITY can even participate in a way to get the time sensitive items.

1 답변I just skipped Crimson Days altogether. I had no desire to grind for bow that looks like every other one (with minor differences).

3 답변It was rly lame doing it and watching 95% of the teams, going comp meta.... when the mode itself wasnt comp tied. And still manage to outgun some of them, with a bow, thunderlord and a shotgun. Also you can totally see how people choose class meta depending and is ridiculous, I saw 60% titans and 40% hunters..... was the only warlock I saw on my runs.

Is this on console or PC? I did encounter Luna's and Not Forgottens but, I"m not even lying, a blue or green pulse rifle can be competitive with those if you use one with good base stats and avoid ranges where hand cannons are more lethal. For close range you can use a precision shotgun or a fusion rifle. I have just reached level 20 so I used the Cadenza 11, or if it's Kinetic, PSI Ferox II, both are uncommon pulse rifles. And I'm average too, and also don't have a team. Supers regenerate fast but my choices for supers suck. But since my weapons also weren't that great, I camped the power ammo (hey, you gotta do what you gotta do) either for myself or my team mate. If my team mate has a great power weapon, he gets priority as I only have a rocket launcher. It will eventually get better, man. You just gotta stick with it. :)

I got fed up during the event aswell, but eventually me and my partner realised our class ability was regenerating like crazy. From there we eached used one of the warlock rifts and had one shot bows for days it was beautiful.

I took a look at your Doubles tracker. Nearly every game you were put against much higher elo/ranked players than you. You are also consistently matched with players of higher elo/rank. I cant really explain that. I can see why youre frustrated. A solo player at 988 elo constantly fighting teams of 1200-1700 elo ... rage!

작성자: Cyfer 2/20/2019 8:17:16 AMYou just gotta learn your way around the game mode dude. I went in with Last Word and a fusion rifle and won most of my games. It’s a pretty predictable mode. Start off by rushing, get a kill or two, protect the heavy, use heavy to win. Rinse and repeat, and use your super to protect the heavy or against it if the opposing team got it first. To be honest, doubles is now my favorite game mode, especially when I’m able to get a reliable partner to back me up. It’s a shame it’s only temporary.

작성자: frankhail306 2/20/2019 7:08:28 AMPersonally I had an okay time but the event itself was rather boring...too many rounds, same loadout I die to, same armor, same evetything, couldn't be bothered to complete all the triumphs for a shell from d1. One day I fought against the same exact 2 stack clan 3 times. They used jotun to win. I honestly am sick of that thing, I wanted it at first but now it's the bane of my exsistance. That and luna. I have no respect for Luna users. Ace users yes, but not the easy three tap win button. I'm ready to get salted on by the luna users XD

I got the surgery shell no problem on my hunter and guess how i got it..... the wish ender. Its best to see through walls even though the swets were using lunas and NF. Plus a lot of people underestimate that bows raw power when you hit a crit.

Absolute meme loadouts. After stomping with snipers and handcannons we started using meme stuff and still destroyed OEM teams and sweaty nubs. 'Im NOT bad'. Maybe its time to revisit that statement. Dont go hating on doubles. It wasnt there for like 6 weeks and then it comes back and people bitch. I didnt even use my super for 70% of the matches as they were 3-0's. It was fine. Play better. Games are here: https://destinytracker.com/d2/profile/pc/nado-21129 Yes I used Luna for a few of the games and I switch back to that as a default loadout at the end of a session but I use smugglers word and tatara gaze, dead man walking ect. No crutch exotics. I use burden to snipe supers out the air and then follow up with a soft, single gentlemans tbag. No OEM. No TLW. No Spades. No shotgun. No skating. No LMGs. No Jotun. Just precision aiming and getting good. Im no where NEAR the best at the game but it just shows that the event was a piece of piss and a ton of fun with smaller teams. Its a shame there is no comp 2v2 playlist.

3 답변Just play the meta idiot, stop thinking you’re better than somebody because you use lower tier guns, and competitive game will laugh at you for your choices. And before you say “oonga boonga it’s not competitive oonga boonga quickplay oonga boonga four stacks oonga boonga I don’t understand why people just can’t have fun” literally you would be having fun if you were giving yourself a fighting chance.
