1 답변PVE has always carried this game.... ...and Gambit is considered one of the game's PVP modes, dude. The 500K PVP players that destinytracker said played yesterday? That's Crucible and Gambit engagement.....combined.

9 답변Numbers and time spent in activities show otherwise. PvE trumps PvP in both. Always has, always will. If PvP was removed...well the game would survive, and dare it say, likely improve, without the hordes of pathetic PvP players calling for nerfs to every single weapon and ability they die to. Of course, that's not to say anything of the potential quality of the upcoming season (or lack thereof).

1 답변I don't believe you. I haven't played pvp for almost 5 months and I'm perfectly happy with the game. I'm sure others are or would be also. Whether that is enough to keep the game going, no one can say.

58 답변작성자: Indigo 2/15/2019 2:03:19 PMUh...the whole reason Gambit is not popular is exactly because of PvP. Destiny is a PvE focused game. Always was, and always should be, with PvP completely removed from every gamemode. PvP numbers are a fraction of what is being played (Story, Patrols, Strikes, etc.) Just take a quick look at this. https://warmind.io/activity As of writing this comment, there are 23% of players playing PvP, including all modes, 11% of that is doubles, which is only being played because it's crimson days. All the rest are strikes, the gambit, raids, forges, nightfalls, heroic adventures, patrols, story mode (which I'm quite surprised by). And even more players would be playing if all the resources gone into PvP would've had been ideas and content put into PvE, and I know a lot of people would come back if it would be announced that PvP is being scrapped. You can go to destinytracker and see the inflated BS data they feed you. (which, includes D1 numbers) Daily unique players can mean that the person logged in for literally just 1 second to both modes, and then left. Of course, this doesn't happen, but see where it fails? Actually tracking ACTIVE players, just shows how much PvP is underpopulated compared to PvE.

작성자: MC 077 Lasombra 2/16/2019 5:11:31 AMPve could carry the game if they actually designed the game around pve and not pvp. They botched D1 and pvp helped carry it. Instead of learning they decided to make their jobs easier by watering it down as much as thematically possible. And rebooting development a year and half out. Again. AGAIN. Because doing that with 1 wasn’t enough of a learning experience... Oh it didn’t help their case by saying they didn’t know who or what the main antagonist was in their D2 vidocs. Shows how shoddy they are in general. Panders to pvp players because it’s more balanced, aka far easier to make in general. It was an utter failure. They’ve spent all this time fixing this problem while pocketing our money. Yeah I don’t have any expectations from this annual pass and don’t have any for the future of the franchise. It’ll be one of the greater failures in gaming history. Which is terrible considering how promising it was. But maybe another developer will have the common sense to not butcher their game on their own in the first place...or drive off the only guy who knows what the story is...or let someone like Luke Smith be in charge... How’s that tenth better devils???? 🤣

4 답변It has for however long, your statement is completely false, numbers don't lie. At least make a tangible argument instead of stating opinion.

Gambit was a cool mode until we got our hands on it and used our own loadouts which broke the mode entirely. There's nothing you can do to prevent a full-on boss burn when it happens. If you ain't got an invader on the other side when the enemy teams burns the primeval, you lose.

4 답변I know PvP players are bragging rights seekers with inflated egos, but damn you guys need to get over yourselves. This game has always been PvE-centric with PvP having an increasing, but still, minority role in the grand scheme. Believe it or not, more people would rather get along and just have fun than fight each other and be sweaty.

15 답변Don't get me wrong I enjoyed playing PvP, but Destiny was meant and has always been a PvE game. All PvP has done is something for people to do once they have completed all other activities, for the most part. The numbers don't lie and someone posted a link below. Crucible is a small fraction of what the population as a whole do on a day to day basis. Yeah, you may have people who quit playing destiny if PvP was removed, but you will have just as many come back who quit originally due to heavy nerfs to abilities and weapons in PvE due to PvP, terrible balancing in the PvE sector, the constant PvP bounties that people hate to complete, weapon quests that require PvP, etc. PvP does not carry PvE and anyone who bought the game strictly for PvP bought the wrong game. No actual competitive league, terrible balancing, terrible P2P connections, etc.

1 답변this is a PVE game with a small bit of pvp on the side!! it has "carried" it for many years.

7 답변Destiny can survive without crucible players. There's more of us than there are of you.

1 답변But Gambit has PvP in it. It's not thw main focus, but it can be critical how a round plays out. I don't play Gambit (yet), but I don't see the problem with a season that focuses on such a controversial character (in the lore) that is still auch an unknown.

13 답변Anthem only has pve and it will survive and thrive. Warframe basically has only pve and is great
