Refusing to bring back Trials, or not releasing it at all will be a huge mistake. Forsaken was an amazing expansion, but Black Armory was kind of a bust and if Jokers Wild is of a similar type it will also fail to impress. The game is just getting stale. Trials, as it did in D1, can help carry the franchise during these mini releases. We want it, 3v3 elimination, and you can tweak it if needed but PvP sucks right now. Honestly I think the ammo economy would be the only thing that will really need any attention, specifically heavy ammo, but other than that just give it to us.

When people talk about how “trials saved Destiny “ they always seem to leave out how many weapons tunings and nerfs were a result of trials, or how many complaints and the toxicity it caused, or how many streamers and elites were selling flawless carries , all the lag switching and cheating that went on, but all that “conveniently slips people’s mind when they are going on about how “trials saved Destiny”

34 답변Actually it’s one of the smartest decisions they’ve made in a long time. Bringing back Trials would only destroy the pve side of the game with all the nerf cries that would follow.

1 답변Just bringing it back straight up isn't so easy as you might thing. While I like many other wonder why the heck updates (patches as well as content updates) for the Destiny games has been incredibly and strangely slow in general, programming and designing content is a complex effort even with a good engine. As much as I miss my favourite weekend event, I still think it's better if they thoroughly create the Trials experience rather than something half-baked that goes kaboom after the first hour. Besides, there are a lot of other issues with the Crucible in general that also needs fixing.

2 답변That's not your decision to make and they obviously feel like it is for the best. So suck it up.

Bungie, It's been 6 months since you took D2 trials away... So what exactly have you been doing since then to fix them? FYI: D1 3v3 elimination trials formula worked for 3 years and YES it was super fun & entertaining. Then, why you're so reluctant to introduce D1 version of trials in D2 with unique armor & weapons? And in meantime, you could take the time necessary to create new formula for D2 Trials as you have so eloquently stated in your recent post. NOTE: With so many competing games around, D2 Crucible Population is going to be at its lowest point very soon. So what are you waiting for?

3 답변Isn't it ironic. Everyone here blasts Activision for rushing Destiny 2 out the door, yet these are the same people who say Bungie should just rush Trials out the door. Take a minute to remember what a disaster the release of Destiny 2 was. That is the exact same thing you are asking for now. If they rush Trials out the door, it will suck. And you will be the same people back here the next day posting just that.

6 답변What's the greater crime to the consumer: 1. Denying them a product. 2. Knowingly giving them a bad product. I know people like to think that bringing back the version we had from the previous games would solve everything, but I personally don't think it would. It would just bring the problems we had before into an entirely new game exacerbate problems present in the current game. Bungie has a lot of work to do before Trials can come back.

3 답변Comp is the same as trials only with matchmaking, You can literally throw the trials armor set in comp with random perks and thats it, everyones happy. Trials is full of the sweatiest players, same as comp, bringing trials back wont stop players from using the annoying meta, it wont suddenly balance the game or make the game better. Trials was a waste of everyones time, comp is literally the same thing

9 답변Bro, bringing Trials back is just moving comp to another place basically. It does NOTHING to boost player counts without supporting content drops (not Jokers wild lvl bs). It would literally be a pointless move for Destiny and for Bungie. I completely support the decision cuz Trials has almost always been a shitstain on Destiny and cause more problems than anything else

Trials is gone forever in D2. They gave us that achievement on Xbox One and a Trophy on PS4 too, which basically admits they are done with it. Perhaps Bungie finally realized that Peer to Peer (aka "Hyrbrid Servers") networking is inadequate and actually encourages cheating via Lag Switching or other IP Exploits and promotes paid carries. If they had gotten Regional Dedicated Host Servers, 99% of the IP Exploits issues would simply go away.

4 답변not bringing it back before it's fixed is the right call. Hopefully their doing the testing to make it right so we don't have to tell them how to fix it an waste our time.

17 답변Agreed, Bungie is shooting themselves in the foot by not giving the majority of the community what they want.
