Then Comp needs a buff. If you’re not going to give us Trials Back, give us a reason to play comp outside of 2 Weapons.
1. Take all the loot that would be in trials, dump them in comp. This includes ornaments, shaders, ghosts, ships, sparrows.
2. Have Weapons/Armor be rewarded at rank/sub rank ups. Potential curated rolls for weapons and enhanced perks for the armor. Cosmetics drop anytime no rank required.
3. After obtaining a weapon/armor rank up reward, allow it to be added to a loot pool that rewards random drops at the end of match. Losing rank does not affect the loot pool.
4. Add weekly/daily bounties that reward Glory.
5. Keep a Pinnacle Weapon in the mix, but don’t lock it behind Legend. Make it a quest completion or at MOST a reward for hitting Mythic. Make it a Triumph even for playing certain number of games or a certain number of glory bounties completed. Keep players of all levels motivated by respecting their time investment. Success has more than one meaning depending on who you ask. Winning is just one way.
6. Legend Rank rewards a special emblem, shader, ship, ornament, ghost, sparrow & aura in addition to the other loot.
7. Point system promotes WINNING as the primary way to make progress. By that I mean that once you hit Fabled, going on a win streak SHOULD NOT be the ONLY way you can make progress in Fabled/Mythic. Winning should ALWAYS be worth more than losing. Top tier players are gonna get to the top regardless, but this will help keep more players engaged beyond Fabled.
8. You know all those medals we get during matches that let us know we just popped off or made a clutch play? Start rewarding bonus glory at the end of the match for it. The more impressive the medal, the more bonus points you earn.

1 답변Pvp needs a complete rework and weapon balance, when I say balance I mean balance not just a change of the meta.

Winning should at least be worth the same as losing. Winning should NEVER be worth less than losing. I don't understand why they would design it that way. If you have a 50% win rate, your rank should stay the same, not go down because you aren't getting enough win streaks.

작성자: Blimgauss 2/16/2019 1:41:01 AMDude this is EXACTLY what I've been saying. Most players (myself included) have Luna's, most players (again, myself included) can't get NF, most players (yet again, myself included) DGAF about Mountaintop. Comp desperately needs COMPLETE loot sets — armor for each class, with ornaments, ghosts, ships, sparrows, emotes, and yes, guns, and not just "pinnacle" guns. With all that shit, plus maybe subbing countdown for elimination, PEOPLE WOULD PLAY. I'm a fvcking 40-year-old potato and I LOVE competing and trying to better myself in PvP, and doing so with friends. They're really overthinking it. It's not that hard.

35 답변They really need to eliminate "dominating"/winning as the ONLY way to get the gear that is functionally unique (weapons/armor with perks). Shaders/emblems/ornaments etc. are more acceptable as dominate/win-only rewards. The no-lifers whose whole identity is tied up in having some exclusive item that gives them an unfair advantage need to just get over it. Lower skill players won't play if they don't have a path to earn the items. If no path exists any competitive mode just turns into a toxic shit fest with stacked teams, paid carries and full on cheating.

2 답변If trials is on hiatus why isn't comp? Comp has more problems then trials ever did. I mean... a potato could spam tokens and get trials weapons that were on par with flawless weapons.... a potato can't spam tokens at comp and get luna lol.

3 답변Better yet ignore comp since it’s been not Beneficial to this game. Give trials of Osiris back to d1 and trials of the nine back to d2. Revert most of d2’s pvp changes since d2’s pvp at launch was pretty solid in trials. Revert the last pvp changes in d1

42 답변Trials is a tricky one. I love the idea of a pinnacle PvP activity, but Bungie need to make participation worthwhile for the average player else the mode will wither and die as each subsequent batch of players at the bottom of the pile leave due to it being a waste of their time. I'm definitely a gamer borne of the "get good or go home" era, but even I recognise that you have to throw people a bone now and then.
