You have to look at your player base bungie. I'll bet QP is not attracting as many players as it use to. I believe you need to bring back SBMM to get your player base back up. The tryhards and better players will play no matter what.
The average and below average have given up on cruciable. Most are tired of getting pub stomped every match.
You guys have the numbers take a good look and decide if your game can survive without the average and below average players.
A solution would be have 2 QP one with SBMM and one without SBMM. Let your players decide which one they want to play. That way your average and below average can play with people that are close to their skills.

3 답변Here’s my solution. CBMM and premades face premades, solos face solos. Premades won’t be able to dick on solos and have to fight other premades whether the premade is good or not. Solos face other solos whether the other solos are good or not.

8 답변작성자: BraddyBo 2/14/2019 5:09:39 AMYes!! Let give players a choice and have 2 separate qp modes!!
But with tiered progression towards bounties, quests, valor, xp and triumphs meaning each kill I get will be the equivalent to ~10 kills by a player like OP
2 답변Don’t agree with two quick play lists, should be just one with SBMM, but also bring back trials with super sweaty rewards to keep the True Hardcore Guyz from crying too much.

8 답변Still has more pvp players than we did for almost all of last year lmao. And let me remind you that we had sbmm during that “prosperous” time.

8 답변You clearly don’t remember the following eras of destiny history than: - most of D1 (everything prior to RoI) - D2 launch - D2 CoO - D2 Warmind Those eras had sbmm for crucible, and the amount of glitches, lag, and pub stomps were about three times worse, as you had the chance of getting stomped by someone from a foreign country/continent.

4 답변Barb, you seem to be forgetting something. Extremes, at both ends of the spectrum, will struggle with SBMM. Connections will be atrocious. Finding people that fit into the extremes will always be hard, and matchmaking will take significantly longer. So whether you're a 2+ KD player, or a .2 KD player, there is no good option for matchmaking, other than to mix the player pools. At least matchmaking now tries to put a good player on both teams, some mid range players on both teams, and some bad players on both teams. You also can't forget that matchmaking tries to keep everyone as close to a 50/50 win loss ratio as possible. So, if a good player has been stomping lobbies, very quickly they will find themselves in a lobby with no help, and tougher opponents. Crucible is a giant shit sandwich, and we all have to take a bite occasionally. Quickplay is designed to be quick pickup games, anyone can get in, anyone can win, and anyone can get f(_)cked. And it does that job pretty well. Once we start tinkering with that formula, it is only going to get worse. We've seen it in the past. We'll (sadly) probably see it again in the future. You haven't gone into QP in months, so I don't see how you have any grounds to discuss what should be done to a mode when you don't even participate in that mode. Everyone has a right to their opinion, of course. But, for our opinions to be respected by others, we need to show some form of understanding and interaction with the subject matter. These guys are laughing at you and your kd, which, who cares. But that shows my point exactly. Anyone actually involved in the crucible scene is going to take your opinion and value it based on your experience. Right now, it's not worth a whole hell of a lot. You're coming off as so many other whiners on the board, and it's not a good look. It's not a good look on the forums, and it's not a good look in Bungie's eyes, either. As you say...
You guys have the numbers take a good look and decide if your game can survive without the average and below average players.
They do look at the numbers. They have taken actions accordingly. That's why we DON'T have SBMM in QP.

Stacked squads would fight this and probably win. This would kill off their kill and win farming. You having the choice just means they'll have to fight harder because they will most likely be teamed against stacked teams aswell.

1 답변작성자: Kanashimi510 2/13/2019 4:40:10 PMThe stacked team players will fight this tooth and nail. They don't want you to have a choice because everyone would choose to avoid being stomped. They understand the matchmaking algorithm caters to premade teams. It avoids putting stacks against stacks. If solo players had a choice, it would ruin their killing fields and easy wins.

작성자: Tk 2/13/2019 9:13:53 PMI agree, let us decide if we want to be pub-stomped or not. Right now I can play and get stomped or avoid the crucible like the plague. Broken matchmaking will put all skilled players in one team and scrubs on the other. I consider myself a decent player, but I've got no chance against 5500 glory not forgotten players. Its tiring trying to carry my whole team. It would be nice if matchmaking paired me up against some closer to my skill or at least put one or two not forgotten players in my team, not all in one team where I've got no chance. Makes me want to leave games and avoid the crucible entirely.
This has always been a largely debated issue within the community. In the past, this entire board has been filled with "REMOVE SBMM" posts. There was a bug in the past that caused matchmaking in Quickplay to stop matching teams by players skill ratings. We received a lot of feedback to not change the experience. Thought we did fix the MM bug, we removed skill matching in Quickplay. It is still enabled in Competitive. We'll continue to monitor the feedback and player data. Feel free to share your opinions below.
Cozmo on another post. Play comp.

1 답변i'd say make matchmaking in QP act like those mercenary moshpits from CoD. You can still party up, but you'll be put in matches where up to half the enemy team is in a party at the least (make it somewhat fair for the randoms that aren't in the party)
