Competitive has become super toxic...
I played my first competitive match of the day and had a .89 efficiency. I know that is sh*t, but it was my first game of the day...knocking off rust. I receive a PS4 message saying, "don't play comp, you are trash". Well, karma put's us in the same team again, and the guy who messaged me, has a .83 efficiency this game, and I go positive efficiency. Don't sh*t on somebody because they have 1 bad game in comp. Luna's howl has made comp the most toxic game mode ever to play in destiny's history.

8 답변작성자: Whopping Dingers 2/13/2019 4:30:28 PMI got my Luna's yesterday after a long stint of solo queue, followed by an lfg of about 8 games, and finally a few more games solo to get to 2044. I then used the glory weekly bonus to bump me to 2100, as you get 60 points at heroic for completing three competitive games during the week. It doesn't proc luna's immediately but you just need to go to the tower and then go back to orbit. It was a tough run, and I've played some of the sweatiest crucible I have ever played...and I am -blam!-ing dreadful at it. But I stuck with it, gelled with the randoms, and prevailed. There were even two 3 vs 4 wins where a teammate left my team and we won them. GG messages sent all over the shop. Don't let anyone deter you from playing. If it wasn't meant for solos then they would have put stacked teams only. The more you play, the better you become and you will find it gets easier. I was going in a with a wishender/jade rabbit and kindled orchid...you use whatever you want. All the power to you and never give up. However, if you are going for not forgotten that is another story, because when I went back into to competitive with Lunas I hung up my competitive gloves for good because of how sweaty it was. Only one player has to leave on any team and the results can turn a totally opposite way. Not because this player is good or bad, but because somebody else gets the host. In that case YOU get to see your enemies earlier on your screen and you get a better hit registration. THIS IS DESTINY P2P PvP!

Well too be fair people who complain on these forums are really shitty at video games. They have no concept of meta, toxicity, and how things should work because their trapped in this destiny bubble, because mostly pve players have never played a real competitive video game. Have you people seen overwatch? How toxic people can be on that game? The meta? Five meta lasted literally a year and gots has been around for a half a year. If you think bungie is slow just imagine BLIZZARD waiting a year to fix a team comp where only 7 of the 26 heroes are viable. This game is pretty tame in what you can use as long as you’re good with it. Dust Rock Lunas is meta rn, but I’ve seen people tear up with Fusions and I saw one dude who had his most kill weapons as TRAVELERS CHOSEN. But overwatch if you’re not playing meta you’ll get rolled, doesn’t matter if you’re literally the best player in the world, if you are not playing a specific comp, you lose. So quit complaining about meta and what you think it really is, because people who main this game really have no idea. I didn’t even go into its flawed comp system. Bungie has a really bad one don’t get me wrong, but literally sometimes a GM player will be paired with diamonds and in rare cases GOLDS.

4 답변its the final few weeks for people to grind for luna's and nf's. it might be one loss to you but that person could have been on a 5 streak and making good progress and see that all end. they have made the quest for luna and nf tough to do. No easier route like the mountaintop. I think they could take a lot of the toxic behaviour out with a second route to play through quickplay for those kind of guns.

1 답변One guy being an ass doesn’t make it about lunas or the community as a whole I agree comp is really sweaty but idk about toxic. Most of the people there are just looking for fun or to get Luna/mountaintop

That’s not a good experience and I’m sorry that there are players like that. In my opinion, try and LFG a team, the communication is a massive advantage over those who do not and even if you’re playing with players who aren’t ‘great’, being able to communicate will help a lot.
