We currently have 10 kinetic sidearms, 2 of which are not even obtainable anymore (Peace by Consensus, Controlled Vision) and the only one with random rolls looks like pic related, and feels like 3d-printed garbage. Energy sidearms are extremely lackluster, every one of them basically feeling the same, with no variety in either cosmetics, or perks, even though there are twice as much energy sidearms. Where are the new Veist and Suros sidearms? Where are the old-school tactical looking Hakke sidearms (Like Pryderi-D, Antandre-D, Zeal Vector, JabberHäkke-D, or Ironwreath-D?) D1 didn't have that much to work with either, but damn did they look good. Now it's Minimum Distance, and Athelflad-D. That's it. 2 Hakke sidearms all in all, both kinetic. Come on Bungie. Edit: I did not complain about the effectiveness, or ability for sidearms to fulfill their role, but the [b]variety[/b], [b]looks[/b], and [b]amount[/b] of sidearms. I basically main Hakke sidearms. Also, opinions about PvP performance completely go over my head, because it's not even that I don't use sidearms in PvP, I [i]don't play PvP[/i] The amount of people downvoting and straight up saying they should be removed is just sad. Yes. Less content is what we need. Remove everything. Only keep Handcannons and Shotguns. Edit 2: I get it. Wormwood. It was meta in D1 with annoying godrolls. I know. Great. Can you get over it, since this is [b]not[/b] about the performance or behavior of the guns, especially not in PvP, but simply the look and amount of them? Jesus. Some people are dense.
