I've been playing the free demo for Anthem for a little bit and I gotta say, it is not what everyone is hyping it up to be. The combat feels unrewarding and the movement feels clunky. It just doesn't seem like the "destiny killer" everyone is thinking it's going to be.
Who knows, maybe a few months from now the games is going to prosper and being amazing, but at this point I just don't see it.

If the movement feels clunky, you’re playing it wrong. You’re spending too much time on the ground. You need to be in the air. Flying and hovering as much as possible. All the javelins, except the tanky Colossus, are very agile if played properly. The Interceptor is so quick that I’m probably not fast enough to take full advantage of what it can do. 3. Where Anthem will eat Destiny’s lunch isn’t as a shooter. But as the loot-based action RPG that Bungie can’t ever seem to get right with Destiny. Because they keep breaking their own game. Anyone expecting a third person game to give the same intimate sense of immersion as a first person game, might as well be comparing apples and bananas.

Transitioning from the ground to the air, shooting from the air, and just doing stuff in the air did not feel good to me. And I was using my abilities whenever they would be off cooldown but I still don’t think this game is what everyone thinks it’s going to be

That may actually rival Destiny’s raids for the level of team coordination and communication required. Mtashed posted a video that looks like play on Grandmaster 1. (Top level gear was dropping). Looked pretty intense.

- matching with anothers javelin to increase combo dmg Hey look, changing ability for the meta in doing most combo dmg - kill stuff with things to do that you would find in a public event ex: standing on a plate Basically a strike without needing to communicate until going for the harder difficulties and needing to do combos * just had a feeling that there was more potential

I'm liking it a bit more after playing around some. Only issue I can see is the lack of abilities, since weapons are so weak..only have a few abilities available for you at a time thus spamming them same ones over and over gets tiresome.
