So your response to me saying I don’t like wasting my time opening up quests that then introduce a Crucible element is.... to send me an 11min Crucible video?
Ok, just to make it clear to anyone who thinks that I just need to “git gud” (easily the most tedious riposte in the Gamers’ Lexicon) it’s not just Crucible, it’s PvP on any game. I don’t see any fun in running around small maps getting killed with one shot by Jackals in the format. Maybe if there was a handicap system whereby good players were given half health, less damaging ammo, no radar etc but I still think I’d (emphasis on the possessive) find them really boring. Not as boring as the inevitable howls of protests by the PvP junkies who quickly turn toxic claiming, when anybody suggests limiting their murderous sprees against new/reluctant players, it’s some sort of fascism.
To conclude: For those that didn’t understand the OP I don’t want to improve my Crucible skills. I just don’t want to play it and would prefer not to waste my time starting quests that sneak it in as a secondary or even tertiary requirement. A filter/replacement system would be appreciated but, as I also stated before, giving the Rabbits an “opt-out” would likely halve participation in the format (I suspect an even greater fall in numbers).
Oh, and I do see the irony that these quests that try to force people into the Crucible often have 1SK weapons as rewards that make the Jackals even more powerful thus making the grinding made by any Rabbit who did want to complete (Why?!!!) even more dreary.
