No one said the last word can't be used in the crucible? Only that it is never stared or implied to be a weapon belonging to the crucible over seen by Shaxx. Killing a guardian and crucible are two separate things.

You missed my point, i was just pointing out that things can change between d1 & d2. It makes sense to me that one of the most iconic crucible weapons of d1 history has a pvp element to getting it. Besides its a tiny portion of the whole quest anyway i reckon i spent more time doing pve than pvp to get the gun.
