Fallen not dropping Compound Ether for Black Armory sniper frame
[b]Edit:[/b] Bungie confirmed in the [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Explore/Detail/News/47602]1/31/18 TWAB[/url] that this bug is known as part of 2.1.4. It is also known that the Sniper frame in question can potentially disappear from your inventory after logging out.

Fallen are not dropping any Compound Ether to progress the Black Armory basic sniper rifle frame. Specifically, this is the frame you get as a drop from Ada-1 after unlocking the Gofannon forge on Nessus.
From reading some guides online, when you're on this step of the frame, any Fallen should drop Compound Ether on any kill, anywhere. It's also supposed to drop fairly often (more than half the time). I've tried killing Fallen on both EDZ and on Nessus, with headshots, with a Black Armory sniper rifle, etc etc, with zero Compound Ether dropped. After asking around on a couple Discords this definitely seems wrong.

I had the same thing happen and it dropped the quest to start the Izanami forge. I deleted it and now I can get in the gofannon. I think because you need izami to unlock the Ada ones this week it skipped over it. I can do gofannon and working to izanami - go try it.

3 답변I purchased BA yesterday and cant get compound ether to drop. Since i didnt buy BA till after the weekly reset it cant be the cause of my frame being gone today.(clearly the update broke it) i payed $35 for a bad rolled hammerhead and the last word quest. I have 4 kids and have waited till i had the spare money(is this a real thing) to get this Annual Pass after coming back to the game when the split was announced. Im now regretting my decision.

5 답변Just opened Gofannon on my hunter. Frame requires compound ether. 15-25 mins on Nessus, equal amount of time on Titan. No Compound Ether. Play on PS4. RCH

Just started having the same issue today. Unlocked the gofannon forge on my second character, first one unlocked evey forge just fine, picked up the sniper rifle frame, went and got the weapon core on nessus but now no fallen are dropping any compound ether. Playing on PC so its certainly a cross platform bug.

5 답변I'm on PC and I just unlocked the Gofannon Forge, which gave me the Basic Sniper Frame, and it was glitched, so I just deleted it and picked up the handcannon frame. Wish me luck! ~Kio

1 답변This is insane. Happening to me too. Cmon bungie I wasted hours doing different quests to get this and its still screwed up. We payed $40 for these weapons and its bullshit you still havent fixed this issue.

Had BA for 2 days. CE didnt drop on my sniper frame then vanished. did the next forge and the bow was the same and is gone now to. figured o well now i have the 3rd forge i can finally do the pulse frame i wanted anyway and it requires compound ether as well and also isnt droping. i spent 35 bucks for last word quest and a bad rolled hammerhead. thats 3 out of 4 frames glitched and alot of hours grinding hoping for a fix.

1 답변This has happened to me as well. Can't complete the quest to open Gofannon so it looks like a hard stop on forge progression until its fixed.
