Final Edit: It seems I wasn't clear enough. Nova Warp needed a nerf. I think it went too far as a nerf, however. Again, I'm a Stormcaller main. Warlocks have a useless class ability in PvP, they have poor maneuverability, and in this recent update the only thing that got a substantial buff was a shutdown super, and even then it's still not great, it's only more viable. This is not a conversation about Nova Warp. This is a discussion about Warlocks as a whole.
I know Titan and Hunter mains are going to down vote me into oblivion but this needs to be said.
The least used class in crucible just got the heaviest nerf I've seen in my life (60% charge cost, PLUS 6.8 seconds shaved off? Are you serious?) AND got the laziest buffs out of everything listed. Three seconds for Dawnblade is actually nothing. You might as well have said you don't want to tweak it. And an extra target for Stormcaller is absurd because nobody stands that close together in such a large group, it doesn't make sense.
The other two classes got substantial buffs, and are in really good spots. Factor in exotics and they're sitting pretty at the top. All three roaming supers for Warlocks are now trash in comparison.
The nerfs to NW were taken WAY too far. You'll be hard pressed to get more than two kills with it now. Top tree Dawnblade needs a full rework (Icarus Dash is useless. It needs to dodge further. Fighting in the air with Wings of SD is just putting a target on your face). Stormcaller needs more range, or armor, or damage. Something.
If you need any proof, look at the numbers. Warlocks are the least used class in crucible by a long shot. You need to do something about it, Bungie.
Edit: This post is focused directly on roaming supers. I'm aware Nova Bomb was buffed and tuned. Please stop bringing it up.
Edit 2: I'm for Nova Warp getting nerfed. I'm not happy with how far it went. I'm unhappy with how little the other subclasses got. Stop trolling about NW.
Edit 3: Stormcaller main here. Seriously, cut it out with the comments about crutching Nova Warp. You're not offering anything other than toxicity. Yes, I have used Nova Warp. But my primary class has been Stormcaller since TTK.

7 답변The thumbless warlocks are at it again. Never satisfied unless their super is a guaranteed team-wipe. Happened with Self Res, happened with Stormcaller, happening again with NW.

작성자: Rheged 1/31/2019 12:35:15 AMI kind of agree, havnt read the whole thread but since I saw the numbers I havnt attempted to play it. (Been preoccupied enjoying top tree in PvE with the skull). That being said I didn't really struggle against it on my other classes anyway as if you get distance it wasn't too hard to team shot or run away like any other super, that's not including shutting it down with a rapid fire SG, BB, wardcliff, headshots. I felt the only nerfs it needed were duration and a bit of damage resistance. Its not novawarps fault the majority of QP players hold hands or freeze. I used it in comp consistently and got shut down 50% of the time (maybe I suck but it seems like people in comp play smarter). EDIT 1: I agree that It was too powerful at dueling other supers, but I think a resistance rebalance on all supers would be a better fix. I 1 shot a golden gun with a militias birth right, and I just don't think that's right. but I am no expert. I will now play BB hunter in the crucible when I'm going sweaty because that's easily the strongest/ easiest to pull off.

5 답변Stop crying and use a different super they literally buffed everyone of them minus nova warp which was incredibly broken

I’m a Hunter Main, and I definitely think that Nova Warp nerf was over the top. I don’t know the specifics of the nerf, but I used it once in PvE and the difference was painfully noticeable. I could barely dent one of the Throne’s architects with multiple explosions, or at least not compared to what I remember being able to do.

1 답변Response to edit #3 I mean your title isn't helping. It sounds like Nova Warp was the single thing making Warlocks usable.

Let me see if I got this right. Hunters: Over-powered. Titans: Mainly balanced. Warlocks: Under-powered.
This is a Titan main speaking. The reason I say mainly balanced for Titans is that the only "over-powered" item we have is One Eyed Mask. If you want to see my PvP loadout look at my Titan.
1 답변I think it's too soon to see what classes and subs will be strong in the new meta. Once people do some experimenting, some warlock subs may work better than expected.

1 답변Nova Warp needed to be Nerfed it was far too powerful. No super should guarantee a player a Seventh Pillar medal. Even in a Super you should need skill to accomplish that feat, but I have seen more videos of Nova Warp accomplishing that than any other super. I main an Arc Warlock. Warlocks are not broken.

5 답변Strange. I feel different. Here's how I feel about my current classes: (PvE) Strongest Class - Warlock Most Fun Class - Hunter Best "All-Around" Class - Titan. Those are my exact feelings with each class as of right now (and almost since the launch of D2). My Warlock can hands down take on things that NONE of my other classes can. It can survive a trip through hell and come out the other end to brag about it. It takes every weapon in this game and makes it several times better than it was designed to be (literally breaks some of them). All on top of being able to provide at least some support to my team. My Hunter, he lives by the seat of his pants...which is fun. Very high risk, with some decent rewards. But mostly, it comes down to feeling a little more like "John Wick" with my Hunter. Leaping, dodging around, and utilizing a lot of pure "gun-play" to get the job done. He simply does NOT have the survivability of my Warlock or Titan, but that makes him fun in an an RP sense. My Titan, best overall - he can dish the damage, he can take the damage, he can scoot around the map quickly for more map control, he has debuffs, buffs, and some decent team support as well. A couple of nights ago, for example, I was in Gambit with a COMPLETELY green team of blueberries, and boy did I have to carry....boy did I. By the end of the matches (which we won), I ended up depositing more motes than the entire team combined, killing around 21+ Players on the other team (the next closest had 2), and dealing the most damage to the Prime Evil....all, on my Titan. And I honestly don't think that any other class could have accomplished that, not to that degree. It combined everything that I stated earlier, and it worked seamlessly to allow me to cover the entire map fluidly. Maybe my Warlock could have kept pace....but definitely not my Hunter. Anyways, even with the "nerfs" to one class, and the only minor buffs to the others...my Lock still remains my most powerful character for about 95% of the content in this game.

7 답변Just tried out top tree dawnblade, shit was fun in quick play. I wanna get good with the mobility and take it into comp but dunno cause I’m ass with warlocks. But for sure warlocks are not dead or useless. I think nova warps nerf was deserved. Lasted way to long but I think the dawnblade top tree is going to see some light in the next coming weeks. I suggest you try it out.

작성자: Azlan 1/30/2019 8:29:50 PMInteresting dude, I have been maining top tree Dawnblade since D2 and was a Voidwalker main throughout D1. I haven't really met many who main Storm. I do play top tree Storm in PVP at times though with crown of tempests. would love to hear your thoughts on my suggestions to Storm in the replies to cosmos suggestion offer post if you get time.

1 답변How did hunters get substantial buffs? Both their strongest PvP supers got mega nerfed Last night I was finally able to: 1. Stand in the same room as a Nova Warp warlock 2. Kill a Spectral Blades hunter with a gun. 3. Survived Blade Barrage by using cover Supers now feel like they're in a pretty good spot, powerful when used right rather than autospam all over for free map clears. Guardians in supers also aren't unkillable face tanks and actually need to care about incoming fire, but still a big damage threat
