In case you missed it:
I have continued to present to the dev team that a large portion of the community has given feedback that they would like to have Enhancement core costs removed from infusion. I'll continue to present your feedback within the studio. So far, there are no plans to remove the cost. Please continue to give your feedback and I'll let you know if anything changes.
In other words, Bungie has heard the complaints, suggestions, and frustrations of the sizable part of this community regarding the mindless chore that is the Enhancement Core grind and they do not care. They are tripling down on this inane four currency cost for the base mechanic of Infusion and they will not give any reason as to why. Now we know.
So here's some cool things I found out about Anthem yesterday on IGN (releasing February 22nd, 2019, full article here - https://www.ign.com/articles/2019/01/22/anthem-everything-we-learned-after-20-hours-of-gameplay):
6 levels of difficulty: Easy, Normal and Hard (Easy and Normal are better suited for solo players, Hard is best with a team). Additional Grandmaster 1, 2, and 3 difficulty levels are unlockable for the top shelf player. Coolness and rarity of gear will increase as the difficulty increases. There will be 6 different levels of gear.
Deep character builds: Your Javelin suit will have space for three gear slots, two weapon slots, and six component slots. Everything can synergize bringing your build to it's max potential before you begin to tackle the endgame. These systems also help you create the combos you can perform.
Incredible customization: You can change the suit colors, up to and creating your own custom colors, change the texture, change the level of how "worn" the suit looks (from factory fresh to heavy battle damage), and you can apply these to each part of your Javelin (each arm, each leg, the helmet, the chest, etc). There will be multiple decals to apply. The detail level can be minute and you can really and truly make your Javelin your own.
DLC: Story and content expansions, missions, strongholds (their version of strikes)... any and all daily, weekly, and monthly content drops are FREE. No Annual Pass bullsh*t. FREE. There are two currencies in game; coin and shard. Coin is the normal currency, and shard is the premium. There will be no lootboxes, but some cosmetics will be found in the cash shop for shard costs.
Matchmaking: EVERY activity in Anthem will include matchmaking. It has what is called The Alliance System, which is designed for players to help players and get help with ease. You earn benefits for helping other players with this system.
Just a paraphrase of the full article, but from what I read this game is gonna be fun. Bungie can continue to add more chores and ignore it's more mid-level and casual playerbase to it's own peril. All the hardcores can no-life and ego stroke each other all the way down to the bottom of this game's grave. It was fun while it lasted. In my humble opinion, all the "Investment Team" managed to do for me was invest my interest elsewhere. Your mileage may vary.
Whichever way you break on this position, I do wish you the best. These are all games, after all, meant to be fun and entertaining. They are not life and death, they have no material bearing on the things in life that really do matter.

6 답변Then go play Anthem and stop cluttering the newsfeed by complaining about enhancement cores and how bad the game and devs are. Don't like it? You have the option to go play something else, or go play in the street.

4 답변oh no someone is unhappy with destiny 2 and will praise Anthem for all of us! good thing warframe player's didnt do that too amirite? Sadly Anthem is under EA and is PvE focused...just the ''no pvp'' aspect will drive away some player's and PvE only means EA can Scum in sum Pay to win since...no one will complain as much cause theirs no competitive aspect to it oh no EA wont ever do that to our precious Anthem! calling it right now, its gunna happen either on consumables alter item quality/drop rates/refining u call it, they will do it or just outright sell ''Marketplace items'' that compare to high tier weapons/gadgets Bungie said they Refuse to REMOVE the cost, they might just tweak it somewhere down the road with the next major sandbox update

작성자: Doc-6 1/24/2019 7:08:10 PMLaughable post. First, get over the cores. It's not a big deal. Second, what's the point of your rant about Anthem? It's published by EA. E. A. Best to safely assume that anything produced by them is going to be full of lies and microtransactions until proven otherwise.

8 답변Do note that gear in Anthem will have random rolls, and you can't infuse them up. So if you get god roll and love it - eventually you'll need to leave it behind as you out level it, unlike in Destiny 2 where you could infuse it with you. So, depending on drop rates and how large perk pool is, it might even be more grindy than D2.

2 답변I rode the destiny hype train from beta to day 1 onto the d2 beta and special edition preorder and as soon as COO and the lack of fun in general sunk in, other games actually started getting more screen time for the first time since 2014. I didn't preorder forsaken which is the first bungie product sine Halo 3 I have not pre-ordered and still haven't bought it based on the ongoing broken experience. I have not pre-ordered Anthem but with the demo coming up and all the positives I'm seeing, I'm not ruling it out. At least they are saying no pvp at launch which means that our pve stuff shouldn't get nerfed due to the toxic bunch of pvp crybabies. It also looks like if they did ad pvp, they were not dumb enough to paint themselves into the corner of not being able to easily tune pvp and pve separately.

To be fair they don't say a flat no, maybe the time to implement it with regards to current changes/additions to the game means it will happen later, either way I'm lucky enough to have a decent amount but they should be removed from infusion or the masterwork amount should be reduced, personally leave master working as it is and drop them from infusion.

1 답변작성자: dano the hippie 1/24/2019 4:47:44 PMSo they hear our feedback but dont care... The people who dont mind this are the people who already had large stockpiles of cores. This same behavior is what held d1. Back and ruined d2 year 1. Some of the milestones are very choreish and i am taking a break myself.

15 답변Buuuuuuut... Anthem is 3rd person, and doesn't have PvP. Dunt-dun-duuuuun. 😖 If that wasn't true, I'd be all over it.

Much as I think it's a bit overboard on how many different things you need to infuse, I think they proved with The Dawning that there is a solution other than completely removing them from infusion requirements (although I still think that's the better solution.) During The Dawning, with all the things you could bake from collecting items from doing literally anything in the game, you got a ton of crap items. Many of those would break down into cores. IIRC, you could also get cores as a reward in the first place. During this event, I really had no lack of cores. If they simply put in a permanent, grind based system for them, similar to The Dawning, it would be fine. It would let players who put in the most time be able to keep up with how many they need, based on how much they are doing. It would also let newer players, or players who have less time to invest, plenty of chances to start building them up as well. At least enough that they could have some choice of what gear to invest in as they level, rather than being stuck with whatever the highest level crap is they happened to get to drop.

1 답변Still going to wait to buy Anthem. Also, did EA pay you to write this? I’m just kidding. Looks promising.

19 답변Cores are not hard to obtain. Maybe be smart with infusion? Since hitting 650 I’ve been well over 150 cores for weeks now, I infuse something usually every day or so into old gear.

5 답변Can't wait for Anthem. If it's anything like ME3 multiplayer (with added open world) it's gonna be awesome. ME3 remains my favourite multiplayer game ever.
-
9 답변They don't care because cores are manageable. I really can't understand how they can be an issue at this point.
