In case you missed it:
I have continued to present to the dev team that a large portion of the community has given feedback that they would like to have Enhancement core costs removed from infusion. I'll continue to present your feedback within the studio. So far, there are no plans to remove the cost. Please continue to give your feedback and I'll let you know if anything changes.
In other words, Bungie has heard the complaints, suggestions, and frustrations of the sizable part of this community regarding the mindless chore that is the Enhancement Core grind and they do not care. They are tripling down on this inane four currency cost for the base mechanic of Infusion and they will not give any reason as to why. Now we know.
So here's some cool things I found out about Anthem yesterday on IGN (releasing February 22nd, 2019, full article here - https://www.ign.com/articles/2019/01/22/anthem-everything-we-learned-after-20-hours-of-gameplay):
6 levels of difficulty: Easy, Normal and Hard (Easy and Normal are better suited for solo players, Hard is best with a team). Additional Grandmaster 1, 2, and 3 difficulty levels are unlockable for the top shelf player. Coolness and rarity of gear will increase as the difficulty increases. There will be 6 different levels of gear.
Deep character builds: Your Javelin suit will have space for three gear slots, two weapon slots, and six component slots. Everything can synergize bringing your build to it's max potential before you begin to tackle the endgame. These systems also help you create the combos you can perform.
Incredible customization: You can change the suit colors, up to and creating your own custom colors, change the texture, change the level of how "worn" the suit looks (from factory fresh to heavy battle damage), and you can apply these to each part of your Javelin (each arm, each leg, the helmet, the chest, etc). There will be multiple decals to apply. The detail level can be minute and you can really and truly make your Javelin your own.
DLC: Story and content expansions, missions, strongholds (their version of strikes)... any and all daily, weekly, and monthly content drops are FREE. No Annual Pass bullsh*t. FREE. There are two currencies in game; coin and shard. Coin is the normal currency, and shard is the premium. There will be no lootboxes, but some cosmetics will be found in the cash shop for shard costs.
Matchmaking: EVERY activity in Anthem will include matchmaking. It has what is called The Alliance System, which is designed for players to help players and get help with ease. You earn benefits for helping other players with this system.
Just a paraphrase of the full article, but from what I read this game is gonna be fun. Bungie can continue to add more chores and ignore it's more mid-level and casual playerbase to it's own peril. All the hardcores can no-life and ego stroke each other all the way down to the bottom of this game's grave. It was fun while it lasted. In my humble opinion, all the "Investment Team" managed to do for me was invest my interest elsewhere. Your mileage may vary.
Whichever way you break on this position, I do wish you the best. These are all games, after all, meant to be fun and entertaining. They are not life and death, they have no material bearing on the things in life that really do matter.

1 답변I knew Bungie hated its players in week 2 of Destiny 1. Queen's wrath was out and the players were, "Acquiring ascendant material more quickly than the developers had intended." When they removed ascendant materials from the QW legendary drops, we all should have taken the hint and quit the game right then and there.

1 답변I can't wait for Anthem. Already uninstalled D2 to make room for it when it's released.

2 답변"Okay guys I promise, this will be the game that kills Destiny." -Everyone every year.

2 답변Five years of destiny, and I’ve seen it’s death to competition predicted about 20 times. But it’s still here.

Farm? Grind? I never had to do these for cores.(Except one time with the seeds it took 45mins) How many fooking items you need to masterwork and infuse? I'm 650, my good armor all master worked, all my commonly used weapons master worked. Normally end up blowing cores on stupid shit. It's been this way for a while now too. Word of the wise don't be stupid with the cores. This here tells me that this game is mostly made up of kids that don't know how manage even an imaginary currency. Also to all that going to anthem. Have fun with that all "new" grind lol. Coming from a old mmorpg player your level of salt is going to increase higher then destiny2. Doubt me if you like, Division2 is the one I'm interested in.

2 답변I have 121 Masterworks. I amassed a TON, during year one from trials rank up packages. Masterworks for infusion have NOT been a pain point for me AT ALL. With that, they need to go from infusion. Even with the ENORMOUS amount that I have, I simply do not masterwork ANY of my armor, and I have yet to masterwork a weapon this season. I am 650 on all three of my characters, and I am not participating an putting ANY of my new loot to endgame levels as I do not want to run out of cores when I have to light up again. It is a stupid system to require a material that amount never drops for infusion. No other RPG game has a leveling up system that requires you to make a "meaningful choice". Its just silly.

작성자: Demon_XXVII 1/25/2019 12:03:49 AMAll sounds good Except... 3rd person combat perspective? And EA those two truly ruin the prospect of Anthem Let’s hope the open Beta (Feb 1st-3rd) proves that the game handles better than the combat looks l!

1 답변Yes the enhancement core thing is a drag. Is it impossible to get cores? No. You're typically forced into content you need to level up anyway. Is it reasonable to want to have the freedom to look the way you want while leveling? Probably not. Your ultimate goal should be to get to max power to make it to endgame, where making catered builds actually becomes meaningful. You wouldn't hate the enhancement core system so bad if leveling wasn't as haphazard and grueling as it is now, I promise. They have taken steps to address that. Is it enough? We'll have to wait to see. I promise you, enhancement cores and Anthem are not going to kill this game. I do hope you enjoy your time with Anthem though.

2 답변Going to bounce between them both. Going to grind to get Luna then do my 3 runs for 1K voices then on to anthem.

Been a Destiny player all the way back from D1 Beta till Day. Got a Rank of 366 for my D2 collection from light.gg i love this Game. I am OK to have Cores for Masterworks but the same currency for everyday Infusion is pissing me off. I want my favorite gear to be higher level if i want them to be masterworks Sure the cores should come to play But don’t make me choose between Masterwork my fav gear or level it up for higher level activities. For anyone who defend this Please i am a grinder and i hate this infusion. Just pre ordered ANTHEM cant wait to play The demo this weekend

1 답변I was partially on board with what you were saying, but then you mentioned an EA game, and kept going with that for the rest of the post. Disliked.

2 답변Sizable part? Do you know anything about sampling or voluntary response bias? The people who don't care about cores WILL NOT MAKE POSTS and EVERYONE who cares about them will. In addition, the trending section of the forums represent a very small section of destiny players. For a real answer, group players together by light level or play time. When players log on, select a random number of them to be asked a question. "Would you like enhancement cores to be removed from the game?" It only has a yes or no answer and players have to answer to move on into the game.

2 답변hard to swallow pill. Its very easy to get around the "Core Grind". The grind only precipitates when players fail to understand basic game mechanics. Altering the core economy takes time away from other endeavors to changing the game.

1 답변I guess the only way something will be done is if one of the bigger streamers complains about it. Kinda like the last forge puzzle streamers get pissed off and stop playing Bungie with the unlock not much longer after.

The people at Bungie are very arrogant, my friend. If they give in to the Enhancement Core fiasco, they'll be admitting that they're wrong. Bungie can't have none of that. Logic and reasoning isn't their strong point.
-
1 답변Keeping the cores requirement for infusion insures more time grinding for them, which pads their "time played" stats.

Wow. What a bullheaded dumb move. Pretty much equates out to “yeah, we hear you but we know better and aren’t changing”. I’m finding enjoyment elsewhere other than D2 anyways, and Forsaken is good and all but I knew right at the onset it didn’t have the legs to keep my attention for long.
