I really loved Cayde6 death scene at the beginning of forsaken, but one thing that didn't make sense was that his ghost was sniped and killed.
Are Ghosts supposed to be so vulnerable or is there more to that story than what's presented?
Everything about Cayde6 in that scene was awesome, buy the way they have him the needed vulnerability to make that scene happen seemed like a shortcut to write the scene.
What are the limitations and powers of ghosts for what they are expected to do?

Ghosts are typically pretty careful during combat as they know they are fragile however like cayde his ghost wasn’t afraid of conflict and well it got her killed in the end. Typically a ghost only will only revive a guardian if he’s safe or heal a guardian when they’re not being shot( hence why damage stops health regen and resets the regen timer)

Ghosts are (mostly) invulnerable in most situations they’re in (reviving their guardians and unlocking doors), but when a ghost is just out without their shield they can be destroyed rather easily, with a single sidearm round actually.

Our ghost also mentions that Cayde's ghost is cocky wich we also see on Nessus during the red war
