Why do humans/awoken/exos speak the same language?
Based on all the weird locations that a guardian could be revived, it would seem that they should speak different languages, based on their past life.
Also, if our Guardian was rezzed in Old Russia, shouldn't we be able to understand Rasputin in that cutscene in Warmind?

When Guardians are revived from the dead, the Traveler's light isn't the only thing we are imbued with, we are also given a bunch of knowledge, cause how else are we supposed to save the last city if we can't even use the guns or our newly acquired light abilities due to lack of knowledge?

2 답변Babies in a man's body. A baby can learn any language and pick it up very quickly. We would not have remembered our previous languages. Most of the people in the Tower speak English. Most of our guardians are going to speak English as a first re-born language.

3 답변We all speak a form of English, Russian, and Chinese mixed together. Rasputin speaks the language of the warminds, which is a mix of Russia and techno babble.

2 답변I would think that maybe the Golden Age Earth came to together and spoke one language. Then that would mean that all humans understand each other, and that old languages, like Russian, would be virtually unknown by most people except maybe cryptarchs.

4 답변Golden Age humanity seemed to use three languages mainly: -English -Chinese -Russian Signs in the tower or the arcology for example are always in these three languages. But this [i]might[/i] just fall under the category of “because game”.

Its simple really the intellectual capacity of all three are exactly the same as they are all descendants from each other and in term related to one another, thus giving them the ability to understand and communicate in a common language that was created back in the golden age, when you read the lore tab you will find out that the first words spoken between each, and to each other was written on the back of an ancient vehicle, carved in and found next to a corpse. the corpse had multiple gun shot wounds, but held a familiar relic in it's hand, shard like with a golden glow. the inscription that was carved deep into the old 1964 Fiat's door said. I’m speculating that those who survived the collapse spoke English, but I couldn’t tell you. Awoken were once humans who were transformed. Exos were created by humans, obviously. That’s pretty much why they al speak English? (Well to us at least, other countries it’s their own language, or a persons preferred language)
