New Players start with 0 Enhancement Cores, so you can imagine the frustration when they are Forced to use bad loadouts during high level gameplay. I’m willing to bet that there are players who stopped playing Destiny for this reason.
There are ways to make Infusion a “meaningful choice” without requiring so many Cores.
To the year 1 players who started Forsaken with hundreds of Cores, stop defending Bungie on this, you’d be saying the same thing as me if you had 0 Cores.
작성자: HytekzOG 1/29/2019 5:29:56 PMHonestly the only thing I'd like to see is cores being removed for infusion only from level 1-49 weapons/armors and not affecting endgame (lvl 50 gear) in any way as it's fine the way it's currently. I do have to say it would help the leveling process before reaching level 50 as it does get annoying receiving higher power weapons that don't perform as well as others you may have while leveling I think everyone here is complaining because once level 50 getting cores is easier meanwhile not being level 50 nor having your story quests done it's a nuisance and I don't see cores being necessary in lower levels for new players. Almost all comments here have been complaints because of it being easier in endgame and not wanting the core cost removed for infusion meanwhile they didn't realize the thread owner wanted this done since it was a problem for new players and that is something that can be corrected without affecting others. Cant tell how many people here were saying to do this and do that thinking new players can actually do what you suggested which is kind of amusing lol.

I'll continue to present your feedback within the studio. So far, there are no plans to remove the cost. Please continue to give your feedback and I'll let you know if anything changes.

3 답변작성자: Nominus 1/22/2019 9:26:46 PMI'm 650, have been for a few weeks now, and let me tell you... I DGAF about Enchancement Cores. Sure, I get really good random rolls on weapons that I want to infuse, but the ebb and flow of cores coming in and cores getting spent is just fine to support that. I've never been in an instance at 650 where I didn't have enough cores for more than a few minutes. If you're crying for more Cores while you level, then you just need to accept that your gear isn't going to perfect while leveling, quit trying to infuse everything pre-650. All of you whining about cores probably need to practice self-control and not infuse everything you see. I've probably used 30 cores since being 650, and 20 of those were probably for Masterworking. You guys are making a mountain out of a dirt pile.

1 답변Cores are NBD. You have to decide what yoy want infused most of all. Things are fine. Lose some of the instant gratification entitlement fella.

2 답변작성자: Rainbow_Gravity 1/27/2019 8:46:13 PMI started Forsaken with 160 cores, and now have like 360. I just don't infuse until my preferred weapon is like 10-15 light below my average. Also, I've only fully masterworked like 2-3 things since Forsaken. Also had the benefit of dismantling Y1 masterworked gear, and participating in the Dawning recently which gave a lot of cores. I guess I just don't use them a whole lot because I know I'll just need to infuse the next thing, and the next thing, so I just don't bother lol. I also realize I may be in the minority here, so I'd be fine if they made it to where only infusing exotics required enhancement cores, kind of like exotic shards from D1. I don't want the system to suck for most people just because it currently doesn't for me. Edit: Up to 400 cores now from just dismantling legendary gear and occasionally using finest matterweaves.

I've been a player since D1 day 2. Started out a hardcore player, and have been a dedicated player for 4+ years. I finally had to walk away. I dont want to grind stupid bounties in order to use gear that I like. Also, grinding power level for no reason isnt what i want to do. I want to grow powerful. Not keeping earning the same loot with 1 power level increases. I realized the game isnt fun anymore, and have moved on.

5 답변I started with hundreds of cores, then farmed more on Mercury daily. (Pointless grind!) Used to defend this repetitive monotonous, pointless grinding, time waste. (I woke up.) Take the time you spend grinding Cores and look at other games. (Suggestion only!) TLDR: better managed games exist! (Seriously.)

6 답변작성자: TheShadow-cali 1/23/2019 11:53:50 PMIMO the cores should be removed and used only for what they were originally intended for,(Masterwork) and Bungie should be working on creating a better loot system so things like the cores being changed never need to happen again. Destiny 1 had it right with the infusion system because how the loot was structured throughout the entire game. As of right now the loot system is not being applied nor used as it's intended purpose, meaning giving gamers the incentive to run a lot of the repetitive content.

Bungie... “too little too late” is the code you live by. Just now patching issues that have disrupted the player experiences with Black Armory throughout the entire season of the forge and now the season is ending. What could you possibly be thinking? It’s time to change this cycle. Step up and change these issues while they’re relevant. This franchise won’t stand if you continue living by this code.

31 답변Stop whinning, 2015 onwards is already flodded enough from casual early acess, p2w games. Just go and play another game. Or: -> get 2 Cores evry day for 30 legendary shards from spider. -> get a clan, start raiding and dismantle masterworked raid weapons, 7 cores each. -> do your fcking scrapper bounties.

But you will gain them over time. And new players are no where near 650. "Meaningful" can be taken many ways. Is it intended for you to use them on a weapon or piece of gear you truly love just to improve it as you level? Or, is it meant for use when you achieve a higher or max light level to make meaningful changes to your more permanent loadouts? Because people like using a hand gun, then they suddenly get a bow 5 light higher. "But I don't like bows, I'm better with the hand gun, let me infuse the bow into the hand gun" 2 hours later they get a shotgun, but oh guess what, they don't like them either, repeat process. The killer is when they get an even better hand gun, with better rolls, and it's not the same one. Wasted enhancement cores because now they are going to use the new one. That is not "meaningful" uses. It's being inpatient. The only person to blame is the user choices.

3 답변Your spoiler is incorrect. I was a year 1 hardcore, came back and had 0 shards since I left at the launch of CoO, I’m currently setting at around 70, and my girlfriend who plays casually and infuses her stuff CONSTANTLY is still setting at around 20 at level 600. Given I had a ton of shit to delete and get legendary shards from, I still began at 0 masterworks. Which really isn’t a big deal as long as you are infusing intelligently. I only infused stuff 5-10 light higher and only after I had grinded out all my powerful stuff for the week.

1 답변Not only that look at it like this To infuse a weapon or armor it costs 2-3 cores To masterwork a weapon or armor your spending well over 20 cores. You dismantle a weapon or armor that's masterworks you get if your lucky 5 cores back. Just the whole amount youngest from bounties, spider or the very few masterworked pieces you get doesn't offset the amount you would try to invest.

26 답변You know this is something I like about Anthem, Warframe, and Division. I can make my guy look however I want tailor them to be a perfect representation of what I want to be in that universe and all my gear that effects my stats has no effect on the look (except in warframe you get effects on your weapons for damage types). I've always said it, "What's the point of being a badass hero if you can't look badass while slaying enemies?"

Bungie Devs be like: "Why is everyone complaining about enhancement cores? We just ran a query against the database and everybody and their mother have dozens of them." Community be like: "Well DOH! We're preparing for another LL increase that's why! Don't wanna get caught with our pants down in Season of the Drifter."
