Really, citing to the Gateway Pundit. GP is a self described far-right site. Among other things, they have previously reported that the shooter in Las Vegas was middle eastern Muslim w ties to ISIS. When in truth he was a white guy w no ties to ISIS. They wrongly identified the driver in Charlottesville as a father and son from Michigan. This false id has resulted in GWP being sued. They claimed the FL school shooter was a registered Democrat, when he had no known party affiliations at all. They reported that FL bomber was a member of Antifa, which we all know is a complete lie. And the list goes on and on and on, with regard to Gateway Pundit's lies. While there was a lot going on during the time this event occurred, what we do know is that these students were harrassing then man in the video who is also an American veteran. There are various claims that these students harrassed others on that same day. This school has a widespread history of students engaged in racist, mysoginist, and anti-lgbt behavior. While there were definitely other groups involved in making bad decisions that day, it in no way absolves or excuses the actions by these students. They definitely share much of the blame for the negative attention they have received.

2 답변I think it’s funny that neither the kid nor the Indian guy started it. The people that started it were calling the kids incest babies, and future school shooters, and crackers. The look of bewilderment on the faces of all those high schoolers was priceless. But yeah that being said if I was the kid with the smirk I would have definitely been expelled from my catholic high school.

I’m ashamed to be an American these days. That man fought for HIS country, and these kids were being disrespectful. Say what you want, but the kids were to blame. Not Nathan.

Still doesnt excuse their conduct, and I'm still very skeptical about the claim Philips was merely intervening, but it seems one group is getting away scot-free here. Also, I still want to know what the -blam!-ing teachers were doing?

Also, the students hardly surrounded them. They marched directly into the crowd, and some students who wanted to see what was going on went behind them.

People are going out of their way to attack the kids, because nothing shows how virtuous you are, or how much better you are than other people quite like attacking a group of kids that did nothing wrong. It's even better that after all the info comes out and shows that the kids really didn't do anything and that other groups initiated the "confrontations" people are still attacking the kids. One dude on twitter with a big following, was shown all the info and that his initial assessment was off and still went after the kids because they were wearing maga hats......followed that up with parroting the idiotic talking point that Trump's election was a racist backlash. The native american guy claimed they were chanting build the wall, turns out that was a lie and that his group was shouting go back to europe. The diocese of the area even came out and condemned the kids. People are stupid, they see what they want to see and bend reality to fit their view. This all started when a group of "hebrew israelites" started yelling at the kids using "homophobic slurs" which isn't surprising if you're familiar with the hebrew israelites, those dudes are crazy and super racist. Media and people should be going after them, not the kids.
