Am i gonna be the only person left playing D2 when anthem hits?

Edit 1: Wanted to thank everyone for the response and wanted to put my thought on anthem. I agree with alot of the people saying its over hyped and will be even more dependent on RNG and repetitive gameplay. I agree it might be good for 2 weeks but tbh no game ive ever come across has kept me playing as much as the destiny franchise has, i played since day 1 D1 and the game has grown, downgraded and upgraded over the years. Its had its lows and highs with the community however its gained a extremely loyal fanbase and i hope now bungie have full control we will see bigger better changes to come.

In their eyes, Bungie can do no wrong, but the reality is that this game has way too many issues and it was poorly designed. But, let's not stop there and make it worse by adding RNG to just about everything in this game and since that isn't enough? let's add more time-gatted quest etc... the list of things wrong with this game anyone could make a mile long list that Bungie is way too far behind this game to even come close to catching up to where it should be. You know because the micro IP is more important than fixing the game. There are some interesting things about D2 but it was short-lived because this company doesn't know how to keep things relevant. Their idea of creating a game is making something and forget about it until y3. Now I'm not saying Anthem is going to "kill destiny", but if it turns out well the player base for D2 will thin out. I'm wondering what Bungie is scrambling with right now to try to keep gamers playing this game other than throttling heavy ammo, lol. Edit: Aww, some people don't like the truth, lol.

Ill be here too, still playing D2 cause I see it for what it is, a game, with flaws, like all games. A game I enjoy and one that has tons of stuff to do (those triumphs for all the diferent genade kills really make you rethink how you use them).

3 답변The only reason ppl keep playing this game is because it's become habbit. The whole mechanic of daily bounties was a genius idea taken strait from mobile games to keep ppl coming back every day to make it seem like there was actually something to do but it's just fluff content. But it keeps people coming back and playing for an hour or a few hours every day. Then you have those poor pathetic souls who just love doing the same few activities like raids or gambit or dozens of matches of crucible chasing for just 2 or 3 pieces of gear. Saw a guy make a post a few days ago about how he has done over 70 raids and still no 1000 voices. Like Jesus Christ dude. Stop playing this game. Break the habbit. So much time wasted doing the same boring activity just to get 1, ONE GUN?!?!? In that time he could have played god of war from beginning to end, or spider man or leveled up a character in an real MMO that's 1000 times better than this game.

Anthem will be no different. People will play it for sure. But people will also still play destiny. Nothing is going to put destiny down whether anyone likes it or not. I don't doubt that it will take a chunk of the player base from destiny, but also don't doubt that they'll come back eventually.

Granted I'm gonna try the demo out for Anthem and see if I like it, say if I do, I'm waiting a month or two after it's release to see what everyone says about it, I'm still a bit skeptical on it, it's not gonna be a Destiny killer, people will go to it like normally, then later they'll come back to Destiny and complain about how Anthem flopped, or [Insert reason why here], like every other "destiny killer" before it. I only recall two games almost being a Destiny killer, Destiny 2 vanilla, and Monster Hunter World, which hit PvE numbers pretty hard for a while, not to mention some of the Destiny youtubers I watch were covering MHW as well, Datto being one of them. Bioware makes some good games, SWTOR, and SWKOTOR are my all time favorite RPGs. But seeing EA is publishing... yeah.

I watched the the gameplay videos and even though it looks awesome I won’t be getting Anthem. No pvp and 3rd view....not interested. I like destiny, yeah it got some problems but my family and friends have a blast on here despite the problems.

1 답변I saw some gameplay of Anthem today and i am not really impressed to be honoust. Graphics and armor are not great and the fights are WoW style which is not a compliment.

4 답변Anthem has seen destinies faults and will learn from them I know that much. Honestly bungie need to be knocked down so they will be forced to put actual effort into the game in the future!
