The numbers would be adequate to ensure order and calm, as well as provide humanitarian aid. 3) Only if the system were expedited without increase in faculty and automation.

Especially when there's a myriad of other ways in 2) Those people aren't going to be the ones trying to get in covertly. 1) Structures only work with 5+ walls enclosing the entire contained section. A single wall on a single border (not even the entire border, mind) isn't going to stop much at all. 2) And yet most of the significant criminal aspects get here entirely "legally" with fraudulent documentation. And drugs? The vast preponderance of those come in through ports of entry. 3) The funding to improve the Immigration system can easily come from cutting back military spending on both military interventionalism and industrial spending

A large, well built and fortified wall will stop more than you realize. 2) A solid wall is of better defense than a mere fence. It would eliminate all, or nearly all illegal immigration and provide better cover and concealment to both US and Mexican citizens from shootings. 3) The funding would better come from cutting back on politician paychecks.
