I remember back when I first stepped into the Crucible in D1 and got throughly trounced again and again. Rather than cry to the devs for nerfs, I decided to buff myself by changing my mindset.
Stop blaming your losses on the meta and teams. Stop blaming other factors entirely. If you truly were "decent enough" or could "hold your own" (my personal favorite), you'd win. If that Dust Rock/Luna squad beat you and you consider them trash, that makes you worse than trash. Plain and simple.
Take responsibility for every single death and ask yourself "How did I die?" and correct your gameplay accordingly to lessen that chance.
It starts with you. Now go get better instead of crying on here. It'll take time, patience and you'll lose spectacularly from time to time. But for Shaxx's sake, LEARN.

1 답변I fully agree since there’s no skill consideration for matchmaking. Pvp has turned into a high vs low skill stomp fest. How do we know our true skill when we’re constantly rolling potatoes?

your unpopular opinion is actually very popular. some people just have a skill limit and just can't break though. There are few games out there that have some real balance and those games have everyone complaining about everything, while Destiny is build to feed the meta, feed the pub stompers, feed the elite, feed the streamers, and abuse the average or obliterate the weak. That's why I stay the heck out of the mess that is the Crucible.

4 답변Skill Based Matchmaking is the only way to make Crucible Perfectly Balanced, as all things should be. If Bungie can rework the Matchmaking to pair people of of Equal K/D Ratio it would be amazing cause if you are a 1.00 KD, you will be paired up against people with the same KD Ratio.

2 답변Proper match making will make pvp more approachable for everyone, except the minority of dicks that love to relax abusing those with much less skill. To its those pvp talented people that love to destroy regulars that I have a problem with. But their argument, is it my fault I so good and you're so bad. No it isn't its bungie's fault for putting us in the same arena.

For me it’s about having fun. For starters I only play crucible for weekly/daily/ and bounties. Second my 1kda is almost entirely through melee kills. Titan hammer or shoulder charge is FUN! Yea I die a lot but really don’t care... Even better is some try hard pathetic that sends me hate mail after shoulder charging them a couple times!!!

2 답변I see what you’re trying to say but let’s be honest D1 crucible and D2 crucible are not similar in the slightest. D1 you had a lot of 1v1 engagements but in D2 is team shoot heaven and in quickplay or solo comp teammates aren’t smart enough to group like opposing teams. As for subclasses you have some subclass that are working good and have great synergy as other subclasses are lacking but Bungie thinks are working as intended. I do agree with some things you’re saying though.

작성자: cottontails2 1/15/2019 5:00:23 PMI agree with you for the most part, but with the way Crucible is now it's no longer just about skill, anybody can start with special ammo and power ammo and everyone is using shotguns and sniper rifles, i like the old system (pre-Forsaken) where you had to wait 5 minutes for your ammo. It could be that i'm still trying to play like i use to and i'm losing a lot cause i haven't adapted to the new system, but i just haven't gotten use to it and i don't know if i want to, doesn't seem as fun anymore!

1 답변*most* people aren't blaming their losses on the meta, its just that a game in which over 300 legendary weapons exist alone, you see around about 5 or 6 viable, used load-outs in the top and lower tiers of crucible, its not that these combination advantages are extremely unfair, it just gets dry very quickly playing these games constanltly

2 답변I get what you're saying, and kinda agree with it but there are times and things that you can't "get gud" at. Lag, cheaters, things like that are present in the game and no matter how good you are its going to screw you over.

작성자: Gorribal 1/15/2019 3:33:22 PMWell i read as many comments as i could take. Here's mine. I play like 2 months now, i hadnt play any fps for years now so i knew i sucked, i farmed almost everything i could with a couple of friends out of raids and pvp weapons which i m trying to get now. Well when i was doing ace of spades i took me like 10 hours for 25 headshots. 3 days ago i did it for my buddy in 3 matches. So from a point of view the dude with the original post is right... i got better, i was trying to find ways not to get killed, i learned better aiming, but... there is a huge but. matchmaking sucks... like big time, thankfully i read its getting some sort of fix today, we ll see how that goes, but i agree with most of the below that you cant match me in my 1st day in crucible, with a team of pros... yeah i m not one and most likely i ll never be, thats not reason tho why cant i still enjoy my gaming.

1 답변The P2P completely invalidates any potential for comparing performance in destiny PvP in my mind

7 답변Unpopular opinion: You're not as good as you think you are. When you get a 50-kill streak against me and my <1.0kd brüder in a game mode where skill matching is so broken that the developers can't even be arsed doing anything about it, you're not as good as you think you are. It's not hard to hit an idiot playing with his feet panic firing into the air...

7 답변작성자: Ingwe-Queen 1/15/2019 10:26:22 AMI know I am rubbish but at least when SBMM was on I COULD in a rubbish way hold my own. Now I am below rubbish my hard earned 1.7 all gone(yes low) but I was proud of it and for my age it was a great KD. Also I steer clear unless forced to for a quest.
