The best thing that could’ve possibly happened to this game.
Edit: 2/16/19 This post didn’t age well :( RIP Trials
Great video discussing both sides of this: https://youtu.be/v3VQHWbjwI4
Edit: Most people replying non criticism negative things have 1 or more 650 characters, why are you still playing if you think this game is so bad?
1 답변Publishers are a necessary evil. Devs are artists. Bungie should setup a kickstarter for additional features and get player funded add ons. E.g. Bring D1 into D2. E.g. Community Wishlist

작성자: PR4X1S 1/12/2019 3:57:47 PMWhile I agree wholeheartedly with you on this, any future failings within the game, can only be laid at Bungies feet; no more blaming Activision for micro transactions bad patches, crappy code or crappy servers, balls in bungies court now let's see what they do with it.

작성자: Crashdogg76 1/12/2019 5:38:12 PMBungie-"Does this new deal include funding to build the wall" Activision-"No we are not funding your stupid wall" Bungie *walks out having temper tantrum* Goes on Bungie.net posts "We are declaring a national emergency to fund the wall" Destiny Community-"This is what our money is going toward... They told us Microsoft would pay for the wall"

작성자: HiddenAlignment 1/12/2019 5:09:31 PMI don’t expect to see any significant changes in the Annual Pass from this, nor should anyone, but I do feel like the far future will be a bit brighter as long as they can get their financial problems in check and if they actually learned something from Forsaken and others. With Activisions annualized schedule out of the way, we could see some delays in major projects such as Forsaken and Taken King Updates and D3, but this is better than releasing another half-baked product like vanilla D2. Overall, I am cautiously optimistic, as most people should be, but I still have a lot of hope for the franchise.

5 답변Someone should start a go fund me for bungie so they can drop some sweet content without worries lmao
-
6 답변Well, from now on it's all on Bungie. No more shifting blame to others. We'll see what happens...

2 답변I know everyone is hopeful and I don’t want to break everyone’s hearts but. Logic... Bungie will now have to pull another or a bunch of investors to fund any future releases. They are a developer not a publisher. Fingers crossed it doesn’t have to be EA or similar. Destiny has potential but all the OG thinkers are long gone and now so is financial backing. I for one will NOT be preordering ANYTHING from Bungie ever again after the shithole release of D2 and the road we have traveled. Best of luck guardians.

13 답변I say it's a bad descion because Activision was there only financial support. Without them bungie has to try and scavenge wants left of Destiny 2 and try to fix all of there descion in trying to make Activision happy which is close to damn near impossible Also this just reinforces microtransactions as well because bungie no longer has financial support from Activision. I don't know if bungie made any of a profit from anything for Destiny 2 or all the money went to Activision. Also bungie had to have used alot of money to get out of the contract with Activision or if Activision chose to end which still means someone owes someone else money. On a financial stand point it's not a good idea at all. That's where I stand with this descion. Besides that I still play with my clan but at the moment I'm playing red dead 2 so I have less stress and can pace myself instead of trying to pace with a dying and the bullshit I was put through for 4 years techancally now 5 years of Destiny.

Peoples opinions aren’t invalid cause you disagree. Criticism is more helpful to better something than praise. Im glad activision removed their dirty hands from the franchise, it could allow for more experimenting and such. However it would be foolish to get your hopes up as bungie still hasn’t exactly proven to have a great work ethic or make the best choices regardless.

1 답변Personally I'm looking forward to it with hopeful skepticism, it could be the beginning of a golden age of Destiny content, or the beginning of the end. Only time will tell.

2 답변작성자: Kouz_MC 1/11/2019 6:35:06 AMOnly in bungie’s remaining playerbase can we read mono cellular organisms happy about the company being let down by its financiers who realize that the only product of this company won’t sell for many more years and that Bungie is weighing so heavily on their stock that it’s simply easier to get rid of this weight than try to adjust it anymore.

1 답변:O Why aww u pwaying if da game is soooo bad? DUHHHHHHH We WERE playing until this turd got flushed by the ones that made it. The split is great! That does not change the past mismanagment by ALL INVOLVED in the progect as a whole. This game is and HAS been a DUMPSTER FIRE. Your "Edit" is redundant AF and the argument needs to be retired. These things are reserved for "fanboy" expression. BTW faceless internet person, we can say what we want to, just like you! BTW remember Bungie were in charge of content, not its release format. The content either sucked or fell short more than a few times. I will not preorder D3. I suggest fanboys that think about preorders should remember the ish show this IP has been through out its life. Remember your history or repeat it forever.

6 답변If i was a bungie employee, i would be looking for another job asap. It also doesn't necessarily mean that bungie can take their time creating content contrary to bieng "rushed" by activision. The fact still remains that now they've got 800 plus employees to pay on a weekly basis. Now that they've found their new independence means that they have got to meet their deadlines strictly more than ever before. In short bungie ain't got no time to burn, they gotta be stringent AF or they gonna bust bank
