Edit: 2/16/19 This post didn’t age well :( RIP Trials
Great video discussing both sides of this: https://youtu.be/v3VQHWbjwI4
Edit: Most people replying non criticism negative things have 1 or more 650 characters, why are you still playing if you think this game is so bad?
Let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Bungie couldn’t keep up with the game in the first place, which is why Activision has other studios assisting them. I do agree it’s a good call, but have been fooled by Bungie too many times now to believe that Destiny will get any better without help from other studios. I hope that I’m wrong.

6 답변IMHO the partnership between Bungie and Activision produced an amazing game called Destiny (1) that over it's 3 years gave me more enjoyment from a video game than I have ever experienced before... Destiny 2 has been disappointing. Do I think D3 will be better than D1? NO

작성자: Captain Tipsy 1/12/2019 9:09:39 PMNot sure why people are celebrating this? Did everyone forget this happened before?? Edit: Incase anyone is.... curious.
Microsoft acquired Bungie in 2000; the project it was working on was repurposed into a launch title for Microsoft's Xbox console, called Halo: Combat Evolved. Halo became the Xbox's "killer app", selling millions of copies and spawning the Halo series. On October 5, 2007, Bungie announced that it had split from Microsoft and become a privately held independent company, Bungie LLC, while Microsoft retained ownership of the Halofranchise intellectual property. It signed a ten-year publishing deal with Activision in April 2010. Their first project was the 2014 first-person shooter, Destiny,[6] which was followed by Destiny 2 in 2017. In January 2019, Bungie announced it was ending this partnership, and would take over publishing for Destiny in the future.[7]
3 답변This is like all the fanboys wetting themselves with “my guardian can talk” how’d that work out. They no longer have a financial backer, where’s the money coming from. Before you get all hot and bothered wait and see what future holds. You may not like it. Craptivision did not dev d2yr1, they provided the financial backing and marketing, nor did they implement the forges.

still same trash game company. Alot of their mistakes and poor game design is made by Bungie incompetent team not activision fault. Activision letting bungie go because destiny is a sinking franchise. Things happen for a reason.

I'm sure Bungie has the best of intentions for their franchise and would rather work at their own pace. of course anything said by anybody is all speculation Now we will see if Bungie has what it takes to create their vision of what Destiny is supposed to be and succeed.

To answer your edit in your spoiler - Loving and wanting to love Destiny is a different matter from having your head so far up your ass that you're too blind to realize that Bungie is the biggest problem. Not activision.

would say fromm the point atm that activision told bungie sry but our numbers ok but we see no profit in the game and ur not gonna make it bungie takes always a looks too positiv in the future no matter how much shit hits the fan so they went from the deal with the money (activision ) and bungie yeaaah we free again but still it wont work they cant bring it on

3 답변It's truly hard to say it's the "best thing". You have to remember the xp throttling, the double primary and heavy setup. That was all Bungie. I'm just saying that let's not name Activision entirely as "the Big Bad Wolf". And while we're seeing some crazy stuff out of Activision what their doing to Blizzard, there is one other concern and honestly I'd like to see Bungie or someone with notable information concerning this next statement I'm about to make say something on. Netease, the company sponsoring Bungie the 100 million dollars is also working in conjunction with Blizzard/Activision on Diablo Immortal that strikes me as a tad suspicious. Just to forewarn you Cozmo if Bungie is working on a mobile game and expects ALL the fans to jump ship and start to play them over console and PC you WILL lose all that money and that will be a sad day. Hopefully I am wrong with my suspicions. With so much bad reception mobile games are getting even if they are making money abroad just felt I needed to put this out there.

15 답변Well if you believe Twitter the staff at Bungie cheered loudly at the meeting when this was announced. If Activison only provided funds and nothing else then why such joy? By the sound of the tweets its like a bunch of prisoners have been released from their schackles. Either way it will be interesting to see how the game develops after this break up.

1 답변Publishers are a necessary evil. Devs are artists. Bungie should setup a kickstarter for additional features and get player funded add ons. E.g. Bring D1 into D2. E.g. Community Wishlist
