Bad timing on time-gating the Izanagi's quest
First let me preface this by saying I have a rare bounty I'll finish up tonight but---
The ordering for the Izanagi's quest is BADLY ordered thanks to a time-gating with the need to complete the Shattered Throne. The reason why its bad is it comes after needing to complete a rare BA bounty. I got mine a week or two back and have been sitting on it thanks to a vid from someone who hacked the database and said we needed it. Others I have talked to have spent theirs and now do not have one and considering the amount of time these take to complete and the need to run the Shattered Throne I know many people that will be stuck waiting 3 weeks to complete these first few steps.
Better solution would have been run The Shattered Throne first (since its this week - the week the Forge opened) and then need the rare bounty.
AGAIN - BAD PLANNING on Bungies part! But as for me I'm fine, out of sure hacking luck!

Welp it looks like I'm screwed, ive done all the daily bounties and waited to turn them in all together for 3 days now and I still haven't gotten a rare bounty so it looks like I'll be waiting three weeks. Gun doesn't look very good tho so I don't mind waiting a little longer

1 답변I got lucky as I had a rare bounty on each character. However I’m unlucky because I didn’t know I’d need them and on my titan I completed it before I saw the quest. And of course my other two characters can’t even get the quest because Bungie f’d it up.

I dunno, I started my journey for it yesterday and got it today. I had to run shattered throne twice too. Once for the rare Ada Bounty then for the quest item. Its really not that bad. Takes about 30mins to do a shattered throne run.

4 답변Just remove Shattered Throne from the quest, it isn't needed whatsoever and is just there for filler. The Rare bounty on the other hand is part of Black Armory.

Or they Could change to Assendent Chellenge with Flawless run or may be somthing like with in some time. That would be Great. Rare bounty can stay as it is but AC we have yime to finish every week. Just a suggestion if Bungie like it.

What would have been better if the quest stated in advance that you will likely need a rare bounty, so people can grind for one and prepare. Though people have been saying over and over that one would be needed for this quest, it would have still been nice if it had been listed in game to need one. I knew and so had one at the ready, and I helped my friend finish one off today and did the throne. But it does suck for those who didnt know and didnt get one, and likely will miss out on the shattered throne this week and then will have to wait two weeks.

4 답변I agree I didnt got the memo to hold on to those bounties. So i conpleted all (2) that i have got so far. I hope i will get another one today or tomorrow, orherwise 3 weeks of waiting 😡

1 답변Uhm, Guardians. I was not trying to make this a shouting match post. Just a post stating that for some people, who I'm happy to say I'm not one of, the timing of this quest and the ordering of the Quest steps was badly planned for many. With all the shouting, and yes I did my share, over Niobe Labs being poorly planned for the vast majority of the community that the ordering of these two steps is badly planned as well. I already wrote a massive soapbox in reply to someone else so won't do it again. BUT CAN WE PLEASE KEEP THINGS CIVIL and us such threads as constructive tools for Bungie to provide better content in the future? Please? Yes I use CAPS but only because, in this case, it draws the eye, not so much shouting, in this case. Well OK a little but more for friends then me as I'll have my Izanagi by dinner tonight.

I agree. It’s very unfortunate. I just completed all my daily bounties, and again, no rare bounty. This step should’ve been AFTER Shattered Throne as it is a limited-time event. My guess is that I’ll get one Tuesday night when I get home after reset has hit. Then I’ll get to sit on it for 3 weeks until ST is live again. But hey, no matter how bad things get, there’s always alcohol 😄

It drops just like the bow, from completing a powerful frame but there is no frame that need requires the 4th forge. Edit: Im wrong, any frame can be done on new forge. The description when hovering on new forge says that but ive never read the description for any of the forges, plus the frames dont say they can be done in 4th forge.

2 답변I agree they should have let us do the dungeon first, so theres less chance of a 3 week lock out. But, from what im seeing they seem to have upped the rare bounty drop rate from the dailys. Everyone i know at first complained, but then had it drop for them relatively easy. So my advice to anyone is, just carry on with the dailys over the weekend, and i honestly believe you will get it based on the drop rates im seeing. And they also seem to be the easier objective ones. All i had to do for mine was kill a few hundred enemies with 3 ba weps equiped.

49 답변This must be the 20th or 30th post I have seen about complaining about the rare bounty requirement. 4 weeks or about month now YouTubers and streamers discussed leaked steps for the mystery box quest. They even told subscribers to save their rare bounties from the black armory correction bounty since the drop rate sucks. that's what I did I saved mine and I finished the step yesterday and I got my burden sniper rifle since it was my first time completing shattered throne I decided to go ahead and go after the wish ender bow This isn't Bungie fault it's your fault for not researching and being prepped for this quest. There was even articles about to save your rare bounty for the mystery box. Every popular YouTuber made a video about such topic. you know it's like when you have an exam it's your job to study for the test you can't blame your teacher because you decided not to study for the test

2 답변So they need to wait a few weeks for an exotic. Many people only have a handful of exotics anyway. This is a guaranteed exotic and people still find ways to complain.

I had one finished on all 3, started the key. Stuck on vacation now! Grr, I really wish they hadn't coupled the quest with a once every 3 weeks event. I have to race to finish when I get home sunday. Anyways, what I'm saying is I agree. This again feels like an opportunity for the streamers to show off weapons a few weeks before the slightly behind the curve have a chance to get them.
