So far it seems that the only place to make something like this is here. If there is a line to call or other place to post, I would be happy to go that route.
I was playing through the Whisper of the Worm mission with a couple of friends, and before we were about to hop in again, I was disconnected from the Destiny server. This has happened before a couple of times in the past, so no problem, but when I tried to log back in, I got a message saying I was banned. The only reason that I can think of for the ban is that I had Cheat Engine up in the background from work in a previous game. I use it to make tools for other games for speed running. Cheat Engine was not and NEVER HAS BEEN attached to Destiny.
I went into the knowledge base and I see that there are things such as restrictions and permanent bans. I believe that I'm apart of the latter considering the situation, but I have been given no information that there was a problem other than a "Not so fast! This account has been banned. For more information, please go to bungie.net/ban". I also see there that there is no repealing as there is a thorough inspection, but in this case that needs to be changed. I received no warning that there was even potentially a problem. I was just disconnected out of nowhere only to return to the message saying I was banned.
I picked up the game to play with a couple of friends and have become very attached to it. I picked up Forsaken around when I got the game and just got the Annual Pass. I also just completed Leviathan with a group of friends and was looking forward to taking on the other raids. I would still like to be able to do this.
If the reason for the ban was different than what I'm thinking, then please let me know. I would love to have the ability to correct any potentially wrong actions. I've enjoyed the game and I have not had any intentions or actions to modifying or breaking the ToS. I really do like the game and would love to keep playing it.

12 답변Unfortunately, Bungie lacks in customer service; the company promotes the idea that if you were banned than it was for good reason. This is ridiculous; in Destiny 1 I had my account banned for no reason! Simply kicked from a Crucible match and my account was banned. Bungie offers no solution to their incompetent ban systems. They ban the wrong people. Why not ban the titan skaters? Or the AFK bots? Aren't macros against your policy? Yet I see almost every titan abusing the titan skate macro. Bungie, you ban the wrong people; people that buy your content, spend hard earned money on the game, you lock out of it. Nor do you provide refunds when a ban occurs. It is almost theft. This just isn't right.

I have always been a supporter of Destiny 2, even when so much hate was going around after the Curse of Osiris launch, and Warmind launch. He only just recently picked up Forsaken and even more recently- the annual pass to allow him to partake in the Forge that I was aching to get into. To say I was excited would be a serious understatement and this past month he has basically put my gameplay to shame, completing a raid at sometime past 4 AM when I've long been asleep and catching up and overtaking my light level briefly. I love Destiny and to see him get pulled in so insanely quickly by it after just getting the vanilla was VERY exciting for me. Now, I don't know what we are going to do. I'd probably say our initial reaction was panic, quickly turned into shock, and at this present time I'm worried and still shocked. I don't understand how something like this can happen. How such an innocent, unknowing, mistake can get a seriously passionate player for the game banned in an instant without so much as a conversation, warning, or even stated reason. I'm worried that this will affect how I now see the game, and how those around me will see it, and how if I promote it anymore, the first thing I'll have to warn about is this and that perhaps, I won't be able to come up with a counter argument to justify them picking it up after what has happened. Alhambre may have mentioned this being distressful but it is downright awful what all of us are feeling right now. Someone that wants to harm the game in any way wouldn't have put so much money, passion, or crazy late nights into this game, nor gone out of his way to make sure we were keeping up with him, and certainly wouldn't be fighting desperate tooth and nail with his friends to get this set straight.

To have no way to appeal or anything, and to jump right to permanently banned with no warning or restrictions just from having an unrelated and inactive program running in the background with no other programs attached to it...that's absurd. I mean, if you aren't going to allow repeals, then at least have your criteria for banning be a little more specific, as in, if game data for your game is actually being monitored or modified. Not just some program that you know "can be" a red flag be the smoking gun. Apologies for being overbearing, but I'm sure you can imagine how distressing this is.
