I cannot adjust to this no skill shotgun/fusion rifle game anymore
I’m not taking it away from anyone who uses shotguns/fusion rifles, however, if that’s all you can use and openly defend it while not being able to kill a guardian with a primary, then you need to learn a new way of playing.
I’m really just looking for a primary based fight. Like year 1 Destiny 2. The double shotgun era is just killing my mood.
(Decent player btw)

If the duke + smg one is what you're using in pvp, then sorry, but against those weapons you're gonna definitely have a bad time. The duke is a monster from medium-long range, but it doesn't kill fast enough to deal with a titan or hunter who's rushing you at close range, not to mention how unforgiving it is if you miss even a single shot. I see a few people using kinetic smgs in the crucible but they're generally few and far between because right now they're mostly just not very good, esp. the energy ones. As someone who also struggled to deal with heavy users of them, I think I can make some recommendations of weapons/armor you can use to help you. For weapons, you can try the chaperone to outrange them, Cerberus+1 to shred them before they get too close, or a high impact fusion rifle with backup plan. You can also just try using a god-roll shotgun yourself, like the one shaxx is selling. For armor, you can try using antaeus wards to reflect their shots back at them, mk. 44 stand asides to tank the shot with an overshield, or synthoceps paired with bottom treee striker (makes your melee range ridiculous, all you need to do is land 1 headshot with the duke and then you can snipe them with your melee). If you play warlock, contraverse holds + handheld supernova basically shits on them because you can just block the shot and then vaporize them.

If I’m able to close the gap between us then it’s your fault for not taking me down because I’m going to use whatever I have to take you down. Don’t get mad and cry over “oh you’re using a shotgun you no gun skill noob, use a primary.” There are no set of rules stating what you can or can not use in PvP. It’s a -blam!-ing game. If I want to hard scope a lane to get a pick so be it. You’re the one who walked into my scope. If all I want to do is Shoulder Charge for the entire game screw it be glad I’m giving you free kills most of the time. Also stop with the “1v1” bullshit. This isn’t Call of Duty and no I do not want to play peek-a-boo with you in 1v1.

Both were aids. If they treated sniper a little better, more people may be tempted to put down their shotguns. NEVER speak of Y1 four-man boyfriend handholding lane camping AIDS again. Those were dark times in the 'fast paced, action sandbox'

5 답변작성자: PR4X1S 12/18/2018 4:02:17 PMFully agree all I see now are Hunters with shotguns skin grafted to their hands, they just charge straight ahead slide 💥BOOM and your dead, there's zero skill with this meta, whomever thought double shotgun meta would be fun, needs a brain transplant. This problem could easily be lessened by shortening their range, some shotguns have way too much range.

작성자: Infamous067 12/19/2018 2:33:51 AMIts a fact that shotguns take no skill so don’t be afraid to say it how it is, fusions are basically longer ranged shotguns but the most consistent one is the telesto that can even cross map because it has no falloff damage. Unless its lunas howl or not forgotten its impossible to have a primary gun fight in this game which is why crucible is a joke. That perk that luna and not forgotten have was the biggest mistake bungie ever made, allowing shotguns to shoot this far was another mistake.

While I wouldn’t say shotguns take no skill, they have infested crucible and really being the game down. I much prefer fun engaging primary firefights, but they’re just not there much anymore. Also at short to medium range (the absolute majority of fights in crucible), primary firefights are dominated by Luna’s now. Ridiculously quick time to kill even without the perk activated. Don’t feel like I can legitimately compete with Luna’s in a primary fight with any sort of consistency. They’ve gone from one extreme to the other from year 1 to year 2. Far too much special ammo in crucible.
