You’d be putting yourself at a massive disadvantage using keyboard and mouse on console as you’re restricted to the turn speed that a controller uses. The devices that allow you to connect a keyboard and mouse “trick” the system into believing you’re actually using a controller. Anyone calling out other players as using keyboard and mouse, are likely making an excuse why they got spanked, when the reality is you just got outplayed.

The space on your desktop is limited, and you have to constantly re-position the mouse to turn around, there’s recoil that you have to counter by continuously pulling down, again running off the mouse pad. There’s also additional input latency using xim or cronus max. These problems are nonexistent on PC, because the game is programmed for mouse and keyboard support on that platform. Accusing others of using mouse and keyboard, is nothing but a cop out, because a controller works much better on console.

Mouse and keyboard eliminates recoil, there is literally no denying a keyboard and mouse is better and more accurate then a controller, obviously not everyone will become a pvp god with a keyboard however it does give an enormous advantage Theres a reason people pay to have zad recov thier accounts and go for not forgotten, hes an amazing player and with keyboard and mouse only strengthening that makes it very hard to best him

Mouse and keyboard on Console requires a third-party device that converts mouse and keyboard inputs into controller input. It doesn’t change how the game works or is programed to work. Using mouse and keyboard on a console results in an extreme difficulty in managing the recoil that is designed to be easily managed by a light downward pull on the right stick of a controller. With a mouse, this would result in you running off the bottom of your mouse pad, which is why on PC, there is no recoil. Doing a little checking on a player that has been named, his success is likely not due to him using m&kb. Bungie doesn’t ban players for using m&kb.

Mouse and keyboard is supported on Xbox in certain games, and there, it would be a big advantage. It also would be more useful in a call of duty game where your turn speed on controller is much greater than the maximum allowed for in destiny two.

You’d see the limitations of it pretty quickly, especially if you’ve tried mouse and keyboard on PC. They’re completely different and using a xim type device against good players in close quarters will be a huge disadvantage.
